Just read online that French manager Jo Maso will let New Zealand wear black in the final even if France win the coin toss. Massive respect to France.

Fair play but to be honest it should never be allowed to clash like in 2007. France have traditionally had blue and NZ black and the two shirts didn´t clash. The IRB should clamp down on rival manufacturers like Nike trying to do one over their rivals. By all means have a different away strip but the traditional home strip should not be allowed to change.

Nike darkened the French strip in 2007 forcing the ABs into grey. Not saying that that was why we lost. Just saying it should never be allowed to happen. Otherwise you´ll get clothing manufacturers doing what pleases them forcing fans to keep buying tops because their old ones have nothing to do with the new ones.

Kia,

That's already happening you only have to look at out (Wales') last few strips.

Yellow and Cricket Blue FFS what has that got to do with the Red of Wales but its a marketing ploy.

I know mate and it should be stamped out before it gets carried away. It´ll only get worse if the IRB doesn´t set out clear guidelines.

They did it to deliberately clash. It was a Nike thing and it shouldn't have happened. It's disrespect of a team's national colour (as opposed to the All Black mythology or whatever which should never play a part) and that's kinda pants, especially as France have knocked us out of a WC when we've been wearing black.

It's a nice gesture but it should never have to be made.
