The Marchlands

Dunno about anyone else, but for me the finale last night was almost as disappointing (but nowhere near as cringeworthy) as Alex Kingston's faux Yorkshire accent.. The half bothered attempt to tie up all the stories at the end just seemed a little rushed and not at all thought out... just when I thought the dark and supernatural events (which I was under the impression was the fundamentals of the story) were going to reach a spinechilling climax, it all falls apart into sentimental bilge!

Yellur Kitten! About time someone gave this superb article the props it deserves. I doubt anyone else on 606v2 would be intelligent and sassy enough to use the words 'finale', 'faux' and 'bilge' in an article!

But yes, the end of the series was a bit of a let down. Just a good job we had each other to cuddle up with, eh? Something to keep us occupied while all the 'bilge' took place! :-D
