Re: England Vs India ODI series ratings
Alistair Cook - 5 Looked decent early on in the series but fell away. Captaincy not good enough for One Dau Cricket
Craig Kieswetter- 3 Dropped some sitters, missed run outs. Poor with the bat
Jonathon Trott- 5 Too slow once again from trott
KP - 6 Looked almost good in the 3rd ODI but this can go down as YET ANOTHER Series without a hundred. Needs a hundred in the next series or should be dropped
Jonny Bairstow - 3 Not ready for International cricket
Ravi Bopara - 2 What does he add exactly? Rubbish with the bat, did nothing with the ball
Samit Patel - 6 A few good innings, and actually did something with the ball!
Graeme Swann - 2 Wasn't himself, is the rift with KP that bad?
Steven Finn - 8 England's man of the series, not that he had any competition. Surely must be ready for tests now?
Tim Bresnan - 5 Looked tired but gave his all as usual
Jade Dernbach- 2 Not good enough. Whats the next ball? Oh its a slowie!
Scott Borthwick - Looked average, although when the rest of the attack struggles you cannot blame the young spinner!
Ian Bell - 3 Came in on a lose lose situation, should be playing over Trott
Stuart Meaker - 6 Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves but he looked decent. Bowled with pace and looked like he actually gave a damn
India
Ajinkya Rahane - 8 Very good once again, definitely a star of Indian cricket in the future
Parthiv Patel - 5 Didn't do that much. Keeping the space in the side warm for when Rohit is fit again?
Gautam Gambhir - 7 Mr Dependable. Gambhir showed why he is far better than Trott in this series
Virat Kohli - 9 Brilliant young batsman, tremendous talent and a joy to watch
M.S.Dhoni - 10 Awesome series from the skipper. Some inspired captaining decisions. Brilliant with the bat as always. And had a good series with the glove.
Suresh Raina - 7 Wasn't needed that much but when he was the little man was brilliant as always. Can anyone hit a ball better?
Ravindra Jadeja - 7 Great find for India down the order with the bat. And handy with the ball.
R.Ashwin - 8 The Ashwin or Harby argument still rages on but based on this series Ashwin is edging ahead. Was a million times the player swann was!
Praveen Kumar - 6 Quiet series from him but wasn't expensive. Even as a third bowler he was probably better than all of Englands bowlers except for the Finnster
Vinay Kumar - 8 Showed why the Indians rate him. Nigh on unplayable at times. Great series
Umesh Yadav - 8 India proving they are producing quality one day fast bowlers at the moment. A product of the IPL undoubtably. Got a lot of talent tho.
Varun Aaron - 7 Got his chance and took it well. As with Yadav their is serious competition for fast bowling places in this team
Manoj Tiwary - 6 Did what he had to do nicely.
Craig Kieswetter- 3 Dropped some sitters, missed run outs. Poor with the bat
Jonathon Trott- 5 Too slow once again from trott

Re: England Vs India ODI series ratings
think you were a bit harsh on trott gregers. He did his job which is to bat through, its not his fault that are bowlers were awful in this series.

Re: England Vs India ODI series ratings
Surely Dhoni should be 9/10, as the English couldn't dislodge him in 4 innings, and played match winning knocks in the 1st and 5th ODI?
Rahane would be a 6 at best, he gets starts but never gets a big hundred.

Re: England Vs India ODI series ratings
Not really Harsh, as I've stated numerous times Trott should be no where near this side
Re: England Vs India ODI series ratings
Cook - 5. couple of decent sixties, but should have gone on. Captaincy average.
Kieswetter - 4. started poorly but then hit some decent knocks, failed to kick on though. Keeping was poor.
Trott - 7. England's best batsman, but would've wanted more than one fifty to show for it.
KP - 7. Continued the promising signs from this summer, but every time got out when well set.
Bopara - 3. Back to bad Ravi after a fine summer series. One decent start, bowling ineffective, and not the best fielder.
Bairstow - 3. One start, nothing else. Too many daft shots in the middle of batting collapses. Not ready yet.
Patel - 6. Decent series, couple of good knocks, though not yet convinced by his bowling it showed signs of improvement. Not fit enough though, not by a long way. Awful in the field and looked knackered after facing 40-50 balls which doesn't help.
Bresnan - 4. Looked tired, tried hard and bowled the odd good spell, bu for England's senior pace bowler this wasn't good enough.
Swann - 3. A rare poor series, looked jaded, though still produced some quality moments with the ball. Dropped some catches, and the off-field controversies won't help either.
Dernbach - 1. Ineffective with the ball, and doesn't add anything with the bat or in the field.
Finn - 9. Best seamer on show from either side, bowled with pace and energy, got plenty of life out of dead-looking pitches. Single-handedly dragged England back into the third match. This tour was possibly the making of him.
Meaker - 5. Showed promise and plenty of heart, but probably not quite ready yet.
Bell and Borthwick only played one match each and didn't contribute anything.
Will do India later

Re: England Vs India ODI series ratings
he was rubbish though, wasn't a threat in his first spell, got tonked at the death, can't bat and not a great fielder. I rate him, but it was an awful series, and don't see how he rates higher.
