The difference between Wales and Australia?
It could be said that Wales lived with Australia up until about an hour. So was the difference between them conditioning? Obviously the two sets of players are a galaxy apart standards wise but Wales scored a couple of decent tries so the skill levels are there. what do you rugby league specialists (i'm just a tourist although I do anjoy it) think is the difference?

Re: The difference between Wales and Australia?
I think its a combination of things
Wales are not used to playing teams as good as Australia or New Zealand , A lot of the Welsh players are not even playing in Super league so they aren't coming up against that calibre of player week in week out were as Aus and NZ players mostly come from the intensity of the NRL .
Conditioning wise im not sure , they did seem to fade in games but again that could be because of the high pace of the oposition . Wales were excellent in patches but couldn't maintain it for full game .
Not sure what the answer is ? the sky lads made a good point in the England NZ game about the quality of oponents 5 of NZ last 8 games have been against Aus , Wales played Ireland Scotland France and some other european teams i think before this 4 nations and while im all for spreading the game its hardly a way to prepare to face the Big Boys .

I personally believe that any one that plays in the NRL is a stunningly talented athlete, the members of the australian test team are the marquee players in that competition,I really enjoyed watching Wales give it a real crack, but seriously they were never going to get a victory.
