Ferguson's letter.

So Alex Ferguson was sent a letter asking him not to discuss the England manager's position. He is Scottish, I am sure he doesn't care at all who the England manager will be (unless he can influence him to leave his players out of all squads). Why would they not want him discuss it? I find it bizarre.

He did actually discuss it in a press conference where he said that Harry Redknapp would be the best man for the job.

I can understand fully why the FA don't want somebody whose opinion is as respected as Sir Alex Ferguson's talking to the media about this huge decision, it will make it just that bit harder.
