Don't be a one section hermit!

Hope you are all enjoying your new home here at 606v2. Many of you are making some great articles and debate and the admin/ moderation team would like to thank you. We would also like you all to mingle with some of the other boards too! So I thought I would drop this announcement to let you know about some other areas that you might not have visited yet, that are not sports specific:

There is a great media section on here where people talk about their favourite Films, TV, music, Books, Games (click on these to go to the respective section).
There is also a quiz section, which has fortnightly quizzes and other great games such as the great 606v2 novel - Clicky
Finally, there is a off topic section, where people talk about....well.....anything and everything (personal favourite being the Youtube thread - Off Topic

Also, on certain occasions, the Admin team open the chat box during certain sporting events - everyone is welcome to join in. It will appear at the top of the homepage - look out for it.

So dont be a one section hermit - join in the fun and get to meet some new people from other sections.

Definitely a few good sections outside the sports boards, probably my favourite so far is the 'Cartoons of your youth' thread, brought back some crazy memories of cartoons i had forgot all about.

The Chat box is a great idea but the software on my work pc doesnt support it and very rarely come on here when not in work. Try to join in everywhere as much as possible, we need more league 2 football ansd rugby league fans to get some debate going

Put up a poll David in those sections and let us know about it. Once you have a bit of debate about it, post a link on 606 for people to join in.

They are more likely to follow you if they know you.

Well you COULD - But the Spit and Sawdust thread is more about everyday chit-chat and
the price of coal (if you see what I mean)

It is NOT about individual sports - they are alread covered under existing threads.

I can talk about drugs in todays world, politics in the far east, dangerous illnesses, e.g. the biggest killer to young men in the world was stomach ulcer, fame culture, bad fathers, fair play, the law and what to do with people who break it and many other topics.

If history should serve as any kind of example, D4 will probably send the tennis forum into meltdown with something akin to ' Federer is a ducker, ' and proceed to adopt Rafa, drag him back to the boxing forum and announce that, with his natural mobility, muscle tone and fighting instinct, he would have been a very good second to Manny as the greatest welter of all time.

While he's at it, he'll probably offer in - depth analysis as to why Evonne Goolagong topples Mayweather and why Nastase, were he to shake off a bit of ' court rust ' would be a very ' live ' opponent for Manny after said Manny has dealt with the forty years old Mosley.
