We have seen a house we really like but it isn't in the school catchment area so dont know what to do really . Though i do have an idea

No but it depends on timing , i like this house we have seen so hopefully it remains available for awhile or unless we find a house we like near the school we rent a house in the catchment area until she gets in then just move were we really want to be after that ...........sound good ?

depending on cost then maybe just one , we buy the house and rent somewhere near the school ( maybe have my nephew live in the rented house ) .............or is that cheating ?
