Nobody Died Empty Nobody Died

At times like this Novak and his fans would do well to remember that he has a nice shiny Wimbledon trophy safely at home. He lost a match to Federer. It may have been an important battle to lose but he will survive. Nobody died. It may be a good time to reflect briefly on his amazing achievements over the last year. But only briefly.

Now will come the real test. It's easier to climb the mountain to number one and break through to win slams the first time with momentum behind you. Now Novak is in a position he hasn't been in before. Not many players have. He has lost the number 1 position and lost two important matches to his biggest rivals. He will have to fight back. I think he can do it. But if he needs inspiration there are two current players that have proved it can be done.

No, he's not lost #1unless Roger wins on Sunday.

Oops that was a slip I thought Federer just had to get to the final. The sentiment remains the same though. Djokovic is not in the strong position he was before todays loss... but he's still very much alive.
