we talking as a actor/look or who was in the best films?

havent see skyfall yet and solace was rubbish, so craig is abit high for me just for CR, loved goldeneye but brosnans bond films went in free fall after that, some of the worse ever bonds were the last ones he did. despite his cheese would still have moore above both simply because he's been in better/more bond films than the rest

then dalton and lazenby bringing up the rear

Craig's right up there for me, for one thing he adds a sense of realism to the Bond character, all Bond's get in fights and he's really the only one with Brosnan to an extent that I could really see coming out best in a fight with people.

Dalton, Moore and Lazenby are all about as good/bad as each other.

Incidentally, Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz have bought a house in the very next village to me. It is only a matter of time before Rachel bumps into me on a long walk in the countryside and realises what a mistake you she made marrying James Bond.

I don't like rating the Bonds against each other as they all have very different traits and are from different eras.

I grew up with Roger Moore as Bond (everyone has someone they see as "their" Bond) and didn't actually see a Connery Bond film until I was about 10 or 11. However I can say that I have seen every Bond film at the cinema since The Spy Who Loved Me. Always worth seeing them on the big screen!

I have a favourite of film for each Bond though and they are:

Connery - Goldfinger
Lazenby - OHMSS (not a difficult choice, really!)
Moore - For Your Eyes Only
Dalton - The Living Daylights
Brosnan - Tomorrow Never Dies
Craig - Skyfall

I just wish that Connery had never done Never Say Never Again. It was wrong on so many levels.
