Thank you both a complete fluke if I'm honest, I've seen virtually none of the games this season so just gone with a mixture of gut feeling and past results. Seems to be working ok at the moment though

We are like that though. There were some funny people at the footy tonight. It was like a soap opera. Some of the things I heard these young kids say... cracked me up. Then the mother or father would say something back. I struck me that this is the real Australia!

I love crowds at sports games , there are no pretences people are just like they are .

our local paper has been giving away these A4 sized posters to support Hull City in the crucial game tomorrow , they are all over the place ..in peoples windows , cars , lamposts its great

Yes, here it is the People's game. There was such a great vibe last night. Would you believe there are plenty of Chinese, Vietnamese
(I got on at my station with this hot looking girl... she got off at Olympic Park too then walked all the way to the 'Employees Entrance' - she had her ipod on though and must have been in work mode), Lebanese (huge RL fans), Assyrians, Turks, Somalians?, Sudanese, Indians, the Pacific Islanders of course and then your average Aussie fan... huge families of 6 people or more in some cases; all decked out in their colours. All they do is talk football.

Before the game there are all these funny competitions where they play some cool dance music then put the cameras on parts of the crowd and certain individuals. (Largest big screen in the SH.) Hillarious stuff. Then the MC started making all these wisecracks. Everyone is in hysterics. Then there are these cheergirls giving away prizes... kissing and hugging blokes. Very un-PC. Huge cheers. When they scored - the place just goes off. It's so good to be part of it.

I did get up on stage and was a backing dancer for the band

This slinky grey has been prowling around my yard in recent weeks. Although I haven't seen it yet this evening I can feel its presence lurking in the vicinity. Sly creature!

Think the caramel and stuff in the Boost outweighed the air bubbles in the Twirl!

Wet and miserable here today, and cold. T-shirt and flip flops last weekend, back to coats and shoes now

Oh no! We've had an amazing April-May... barely below 22°C every day. Usually around 24-25°. Nippy at night the last few weeks but nothing much below 10-11°C.

It has barely rained either. They keep saying "chance of rain" but it never bloody comes!
