Difficult question as it probably changes all the time, but for the sheer length of time I've had it and the consistency to which I listen to it, Blue Lines by Massive Attack would be there or thereabouts.

A similar album to Superfly for me, Portishead - Dummy. The songs throughout it still sound fresh, I still regularly listen to it, just a haunting album.

But sure Born in the USA is a protest song Truss! Love it anyway. Born to Run isn't my favourite song on the album. Probably be about 4th or 5th! Backstreets and Jugleland. Epics!

Truss, we're a dying breed! If I had to listen to 1 artist the rest of my life I wouldn't have to think about it. Would love to go see him play in America. Think it would be unreal!

Went to see him in the RDS in Dublin last Summer and could have cried. Proper songwriter and singer!

Not a particularly original choice for a man of my years but it has to be the Stone Roses debut for me. Bought it the day it came out and 24 years on still listen to it at least once a week and love it now every bit as much as I ever did.

As an aside am loving the Springsteen love in on here. Got to love the boss, agree Born to Run is his finest hour. Thunder Road may be my favourite opening album track ever.

I'll gladly continue with a Bruce love-in! Although not my favourite album Born in the USA is absolutely packed full of hits!

Would have put money on you picking a Kenny G disc, Dave.

I hope you're putting a "metal" spin on all the usual nursery rhymes.
