Someone please buy that oaf a personality. If there has ever been a more boring individual involved in boxing I am yet to hear of him. The man drives me to change channels whenever he opens his mouth.

I've never seen a boxer thats a prospect for so long.............his personality certainly doesn't help either

Nearly nine years as a pro, talent to burn, unbeaten...and this is where his career is at.
Shocking state of affairs really.

Compare that to Amir Khan who, in 8 years (debut anniversary in a few days) has campaigned at LW and LWW, won a world strap, defended it 5 times and only 'really' lost it once (LP is an NC in my eyes).

Part of Brook's problem is that, in a normal 9 yr career, most people would consider it reasonable for someone who started at 147 to be moving up to say 154 after 6-8 yrs at the weight. But as Brook has achieved little and is still just a fringe contender, the fact his body naturally is outgoing the weight makes him look bad.

If he has been half as successful as Amir and was now saying "my body's outgrowing the weight and I need to go to 154", nobody would bat an eyelid.

What happened to our one of our favorite Mods?

To be honest have just had a look at his career and its pretty poor. 29 fights and 20 of those have been against other British fighters. He really just has not had any ambition in his career at all.

In fairness, on Saturday I posted asking for a stream/link to the boxing which we've been expressly told not to do (my excuse being that I was actually paying for the fight legally, but was just unable to watch it live at the time) and then last night I got dragged down into a verbal slanging match on the N&CA forum which I was meant to be policing and allowed C_S to wum me into losing my rag.

It's the WUM's that turn reasonable posters into monsters but sadly it never seems to be the wums that are punished.....

I agree with this statement, although Davide has been gone for a while, comes back and stays for a little while before the mods kick him off again so they are doing something. its the subtle WUMs that go under the radar.

Aw just noticed the demotion mate! You being a mod was superb, although I'm not too sure you ever actually did anything with it!

Anyway - its all good. I certainly don't have the temperament to be a mod to deal with some of the utter clowns that post here, although I'd be excellent in enforcing consistency in the moderation.

If I wanted your opinion I'd ask for it, my reference is that I was posting on his topic despite having him blocked. The information was for Azania in that I was replying to a decent topic idea.

If I regarded your opinion as I do others then I'm sure your advice would be gratefully received. Fact of the matter is though, communicating with you is as pleasurable as I'd imagine licking the crud out of the corner of my cats eye would be. So you can be blocked too

Kell Brook is the boxing equivalent of beige paint.

I have zero interest in him. The way he's been matched is so safety-first he should be in Deontay Wilder's camp.

When Naz said Kell Brook could beat Mayweather I didnt realise he meant Rodger
