British Heavyweight Title
Rumors abound that David Price is to vacate his British title in order to rebuild his career.
If this is true, I wonder if the Haye/Fury fight will be for the vacant title??

Re: British Heavyweight Title
Why would they bother? Haye has shown no interest in this title and Fury has shown contempt for it, abandoning it in favour of the Irish title!!. The winner is looking for a world title fight and so has no intention of defending it. Surely it would be waste of time? Better to get Hughie Fury or someone like him fight for it on the undercard. This could generate some interest and some much needed exposure.

The real British heavyweight champion will be the winner of the Fury and Haye match.

Cometh the hour, cometh the A-Force.
Harrison vs McDermott for the vacant title - now there's an epic in the making.

Re: British Heavyweight Title
Haye and Fury wont be interested in the British title at this stage. Im not sure of the benefits of Price vacating the title unless he plans to relocate to another country or something. Chisora is the only boxer out there that might be interested in fighting for it that would be too risky for Price. But he has a fight soon.
Im curious to see what Price does now. I think he needs a complete rehaul. The whole thing with Lennox Lewis was also a bit strange. Judging from what they were talking about, Lewis was all about going back to basics, jab, movement etc. Apart from not working at all, its not exactly a ringing endorsement of his current trainer if they bring in a guy like Lewis with no training credentials to teach the basics? If his current trainer hasnt been doing that then he should have changed long ago.

Re: British Heavyweight Title
I don't think Haye or Fury would be interested in it tbh, also I don't see how vacating benefits price, he knows he is on top of domestic level barring the previous 2 mentioned. Chisora would be a huge test considering his previous 2 defeats to Thompson for him so therefore too risky, but could defend against audley or McDermott both of whom he has blasted out already, or sexton, Skelton or undefeated Richard towers or hughie fury.
If he comes through a coupls of those, then step to chisora, again if he comes through that he is up to European level within 3 fights which is possibly a year, considering his age, if he still has world title ambitions himself that's no bad thing.
