Not sure how successful Aspas will be against Stoke, tough start for a forward new to the English game.

Whoever has Whittaker in their side needs to reassess as I expect he'll be riding the bench unless we get an injury...

It's gonna be Garrido or Olsson, not sure yet, Olsson's had the better pre-season and is probably more likely to get assists/goals as he likes to get forward

My whole team changes for if I'm in the mood to have RVP playing or not. Real head scratcher. Convinced he'll just keep scoring, but hes so much more money than other strikers.

That's the problem Chris, one injury for RVP and your whole fantasy season is thrown. I've not gone for RVP for that very reason.

Id just move him out, you get the one transfer every week, in fact it would be a blessing if he got injured cos I could get another striker in, use the money elsewhere and wouldnt be missing out on RVP points

Could very well be the case, but I wouldn't expect to see it immediately. Stoke will likely be playing fairly similar to the Pulis way this early in the season and their centre backs are notoriously tough. Baptism of fire for Aspas who will take time to adjust.

Problem is, you have one transfer a week, and in week 1 you replace him. So there's £5m ish sitting in the bank that could improve your team.

I went for players that are guaranteed to start most games for their clubs.

anybody know if there's been a 606v2 league set up on superbru? theres has been the previous two years

any west brom fans think craig dawson will get much of a run out, pretty cheap and rated quite highly from what ive heard

Not much chance. McAuley and Olsson are first choice, then we have Diego Lugano behind them. Dawson will get a loan move I expect.

cheers good to know, i need a 4mil defender and not many there who will start

Thats if I replaced him in week one. Im most likely to replace him with a top money striker, and then improve my team over the next week or take the -4 if desperate. As you wont need to replace a player every week, you just adjust who plays then make the transfer. 

If RVP scores like he did last year, hes worth it. Its hard to pick a City striker, there are question marks over a lot of the others at top clubs, but RVP is pretty much nailed on for goals. The likelihood is he will get more points than my gamble striker replacement and my upgraded other player.

Its deciding whether I trust someone to get nearly as much goals and whether I can really upgrade on others to make it worthwhile.

Duty, Zaha didnt come on so you'll get Barkley's points if you put him as your first sub

I've still got Mata, Dembele and Paulinho to go so that should get me a few more points you'd have thought.

Someone in another league I'm in got 49 points and still has Mata, Ben Arfa and Dzeko to play. He had Mignolet, Coleman, Nolan, RVP and RVW.

Currently on 11 points, but with 6 players left to get me some more points. Thank goodness for Lambert though, he got 7 points today. Also slightly annoyed I didn't pick Shaw of Southampton; I did initially, but then transferred him out. I look at the stats today and he got 12 points!

Also, 5 Englishmen scored 10 points or over today. I didn't pick a single one of them in my All-England squad.

So there is not one foreign player better than your squad? So the likes of Van Persie, Aguero, Kompany, Yaya Toure, Bale, Hazard, etc are not good enough? I guess if Messi or Ronaldo were playing in the EPL they would not be good enough either. I used to think you had delusions about how good English players are but now I think you are just plain xenophobic.

I think Duty is doing it for the novelty rather than actually thinking that's the best squad...

I'm happy with 6th with still four of my players to go. Mata, Paulinho, Dembele and Cech have the potential to get me quite a lot of points as well.

I might be wrong but i think Mata has a slight injury, i heard it on Chelsea TV yesterday or the day before i think so i don't know if he will play much or at all against Hull.

Well the fantasy Premier League isn't saying that, neither is team news.

Good to see Nando joint second too

61 points thus far, and with Cahill, Terry and Captain Cole to play on Wednesday. The fact that Tottenham, Chelsea, and City all kept clean sheets this week was a massive boost.

58 points for me. Let down by Lukaku and Anelka. Hoping Lukaku gets some serious playing time tomorrow night. Got Hazard and Lampard too.

Up to 62 points with Ivanovic and my captain Torres with a game to come.

Champions league placing at the moment!

ive still got lowton, benteke, cech, luiz and hazard (my captain) to come so should be a solid start. just hope luiz doesn't play

reckon torres wont start on wednesday adam, think he'll give lukaku or ba a start. problem with both city and chelsea is that they will rotate their strikers too much
