Who is the Sexiest Golfer?

Adam Scott has been voted the sexiest golfer on the PGA tour in a recent pole conducted by Golf Digest.

When men were asked the scoring was;

Adam Scott: 58%
Rickie Fowler: 13%
Tiger Woods: 10%
Rory McIlroy: 8%
Kevin Streelman: 7%
Billy Horschel: 4%

And when women were asked;

Adam Scott: 50%
Rory McIlroy: 27%
Tiger Woods: 14%
Rickie Fowler: 5%
Kevin Streelman: 2%
Billy Horschel: 2%

Random question for a predominately male forum. And i am with Mr Super, are golfers sexy? Its a very unsexy sport. And they all wear hats, and it seems a surprising amount of them are bald or balding when they take them off. Even the good looking women, do not look sexy in golf attire.

It's like a Tefal advert Ben, when they take their hats off, most are seriously receding with huge white foreheads.

If I were pro and a multi millionaire there is no danger I would wear a hat. Robert Rock is good in this respect. Could make money off it, but doesn't like them

Sexy isn't the adjective I would use.

I just do not see golf as being the sort of sport that would attract the type of male who would happily call a male golfer sexy. Its seems to be the sort of sport that deepens its voice and orders a beer in the vicinity of a homosexual. To prove its a mans game.

Adam Scott without a doubt is the whole package, and the poll got it right in that nobody else is even close. If you don't think golfers can look sexy then you must have missed the picture of Adam a few years ago in one of the many golf publications we can't seem to live without. He was standing on a beach in Australia wearing Bermuda shorts and carrying his surf board under his arm. Looked like he had just got out of the water -- hair tousled, no glaring white forehead, you could almost taste the salt on his sun-kissed shoulder. Yep -- for me nobody else belongs on the same list !

Saying a guy is sexy does not mean you want to have sex with them, or even a quick handjob when no one is looking. But most men should be able to admit if a guy is good looking, without fancying them. Again its probably about the era you where brought up in, i can see i am over 20 years younger then Mr golfermartin, so maybe thats the reason.

Nor do I find any men "sexy". You can acknowledge that a man is good looking or not, just as you can declare they are ugly, but I don't think a straight person could find someone of the same sex "sexy"

I find it extremely hard to believe that when asked the question "Who do you think is the sexiest golfer on the PGA/LPGA?" men and women separately came up with the same top 6 (particularly when the lists include Streelman and Horschel). It looks more as if people were given the 6 names and asked to rank them.  Not the same thing at all -- hard to fathom how Streelman and Horschel could beat out Freddie Couples in a fair poll among women !

I din't think they did Plunky. I think they gave them 6 golfers and got groups of men and women to rate them.

This may not work...but to be fair who would turn this guy down, no wonder he was on the list!

Well lorus, goldie, it depends. As far as I know it's a red hazard a few days a month. So hands off and no grounding of club.

I find it hard to believe fellow males find nothing sexy about guys. Lets face it, a hand job from Adam Scott would hardly be traumatic experience.

Yes it would for me. As a heterosexual male, a hand job from Adam Scott would mean I'd be being subjected to something sexual against my will. Therefore it would be sexual assault. Fortunately I have no experience of sexual assault but I'm guessing it's one of the most traumatic experiences a person could go through. It may not be an unpleasant thought for you Mac, and you and many others may happily embrace homo erotic fantasy or even active homosexual practices but it's not for me.

Kind of a moot point though, Adam Scott is unlikely to give a toss about you!

Adam Scott may look like Matthew Mcconnoughy, and Ricky Fowler looks like he just stepped out of High school Musical, but does that make them sexy? Here is a list of things we KNOW from history that women find sexy:

A big (pay) packet
A history of cheating / treating women badly
A fast car / boat / plane
A bulging trophy cabinet

Of lesser importance:
Strength / physical fitness
Looks

Of no importance:
Personality

So lets apply that to golf.... Without a doubt its Tiger Woods top. Forget the poll, 99.999% of women don't read golf digest, and nobody would go anywhere near those that do so let's face it their views don't count.
