Carnage. Quite a few of them have been mishits too! But taking nothing away from Finch, brutal hitting.

Probably the Saffers against us when Bosman and Smith smashed Rashid everywhere.

Actually, 260/6 for SL against Kenya. The highest between two Test nations is 241/6 (SA vs Eng).

No T-20 double hundred for Finch. He's out for 156 in the 18th over. The way he was going, even a double hundred wasn't out of reach!. Without Kevin Pietersen, this match was lost for England pretty much at the halfway stage of the Australia innings. Hopefully Lumb, Right and co can bring down the margin.

Well, Dernbach showing his class. Double wicket over, taking out Finch and Watson in the same over. Hasn't gone for many in that over, he has one more over to correct that though!.

Seems like its Dernbach's day today. Quite unfortunate for England as he'll be his usual self for the next 10 games, and this one was anyways lost much before his late intervention

Well, some things stay pretty much the same across formats. Australia are never too far away from a collapse, Johnson and Dernbach, and England's top order struggles. They are now down to 37-3.

Didn't even realise this was on until I saw the result this morning. Sounds like good entertainment. Not bothered about the defeat to be honest, even if I go to a live T20 I want to see entertainment over a positive result.

I get that even when I see a test live. I'd quite happily watch England win 5-0 at Football, but Cricket.................I'd rather see a good day's play over a one sided one.

I would go along with that. Test cricket can be a bit turgid if one side is just batting and batting. At least at home you can switch it off and go and do something else.

At a T20 I went to last year Gayle was out in the first over, I was gutted but clearly in the minority as most of the crowd seemed to want the Windies 50 all out in a completely meaningless game - like that would have been worth the £50 they had paid.

Hales getting busy with nineteen off Faulkner's first over...England needed that after a " steady" start...46 off five.
Mind you they might need 300 here with Finch to bat later !

I still find it hard to take this t20 too seriously...yes there are skills involved of course ; but often enough a bit of cheerful slogging ( and a few lucky edges) has a huge influence on the result.

Fun , but like sevens to real rugby.

60 off the first six

Credit to Johnson for coming back to bowl a good final over...and now a great catch to dismiss Wright just as he was really taking off !

Morgan in : thought they might have promoted Butler.

he'll probably have some blinders now but I don't think they will ever fear him and the army will always go after him now.

well we can expect finch to pass the total himself.  eng are giving it a go but there's not the big hitter like that and a lack of bowling.

ah well, tis just hit and giggle.

a little collapse of wickets and failing to even get past 200 there.  Must be 30 short of what Finch will ensure aussie can get?

No Finch special today...

Broad takes a big wicket early...couldn't expect him to do that sort of thing twice running , I guess.

Still a game on , of course : Wtson and Warner are well capable of big innings , fast...but it isn't quiite as easy batting second...
