Where are they now?
First topic message reminder :
Just thought I'd start a thread about people who most of us may have heard of but we don't seem to hear that much about these days.
JIMMY NAIL - Perhaps most famous for his character OZ in "Auf Wiedersein, Pet" as well as the Private Eye "Spender" and even dabbling with a singing career at one point, the Sid the Sexist look-a-like seems to have vanished from the telly. In this age of impossibly beautiful but ultimately talentless people dominating our screens, it seems a shame that someone like Nail can't find another vehicle to get himself back on our screen.
Anyone think of any others we really don't see any more but probably should.

Re: Where are they now?
Yes it can, that's why Dave Lee Travis et all are in the papers...news stories about a dyslexic vigilante setting fire to a man with a love of pedaloes may be completely coincidental to this post...along with the rumours that I sold my soul to Santa and nearly choked to death on my own VimtoSTC wrote:Thanks, Jeff. Well thanks, Dave. My post now appears a bit of a damp squid.DAVE667 wrote:Yes it can, that's why Dave Lee Travis et all are in the papers...news stories about a dyslexic vigilante setting fire to a man with a love of pedaloes may be completely coincidental to this post...along with the rumours that I sold my soul to Santa and nearly choked to death on my own VimtoSTC wrote:Thanks, Jeff. Re: Where are they now?
Whatever happened to Saint and Greavsie..?
During the 1990's, Ian St John and Jimmy Greaves were two of the most persistent pundits in football. Not the most knowledgeable, insightful or incisive, but entertaining in a certain sort of way.
I know old Jim is clocking it now and has probably decided to call it a day, but even so, it's not unusual for the retired to pop up now and then (Sralex couldn't keep quiet for two months without releasing a book that slags off everybody from Roy Keane to Rafa Benitez to Jordan Henderson).
Ian St John..? He seems to have dropped off the planet without anybody noticing.
Don't get me wrong.... I'm not wishing they were back, just wondering.

What happened to the guy that played Xander in Buffy?
He's the only one from the main cast that hasn't done anything of note after Buffy.
