I have a plan for an improvement on Januzaj, but other than that?

Looks stronger than last season. Like the fullbacks, although you're banking on Bartra coming good for Barca sooner rather than later. Sahin and Bender if consistant for Dortmund will be vote winners.

Cabella a good signing IMO.
Strong starting line up. Bartra will either need to come good or be replaced. Adnan isnt so bad, cant be guarenteed with his real life match time but when he has played hes look threatening, got an assist on the weekend so he is capable. A top top LM/LW or even RM/RW would give better balance with Pedro on the other flank.
I would say replace Enyeama but he was fantastic last night against Monaco.

Well, only trebs so far, I may as well stick mine up even tho it give away my strongest line up I think its pretty clear anyway.

Gregers - Ivanovic is a great addition. Central midfield three could do with improving across the course of the season but for now will do a fine job.
Iraola, Reid, Umtiti & Riviere probably priority to improve on.
Im being a bit over critical though, thought its better to be so you know what to plan for rather then just saying it all looks fine.

Iraola is my next improvement, got Chiriches at CB as well

Not sure an improvement on Umtiti is needed, at least not for a while!

Agree on Riviere though

On yours:

I dont like Remy out wide left, would improve there. Carrick should be the central of the three, Gerrard on the right

CB's could do with upgrading later in the season but for now will do a good job

Improve the CBs ASAP man. The rest is good, although maybe a bit more youth in the middle of the pitch? Those three are all likely to want to sit deeper and pass it and there is no real box-to-box threat. Gerrard won't do that any more.

I am truly mystified how no one rates Costa who I used prior & Campagnaro. Toure also playing at Pool & having a decent/fine season so far.
My CB's will be improved at some point in the season. I expected Peluso to come under most criticism.

Don't get me wrong, they're alright, but they are the area that stands out to improve for sure. Your full backs are good, I like Coleman a lot.

Riviere and Ravel Morrison look your weaknesses for me as despite current good form they haven't done much over a long period of time. I'd prefer to see a more attacking right back in there over Iraola too.


I think you have two good centre backs, maybe a bit of pace alongside one of them? Carrick and De Rossi I would play deeper with someone a bit higher, be it Gerrard or a proper AM. Peluso also is okay but not great.

In the second XI your CMs are the best players, not sure about Berahino or Rosicky out wide, maybe sign another backup winger with more quality than Gnabry.

I agree. Doesn't matter that the current Premier League Champions Manchester United used 4-4-2, or that the current Champions League winners Bayern Munich used 4-4-2.

I know it's only feedback, but I don't understand why Lovren is seen as a weakness. Not only is he part of the tightest defence in the real Premier League so far this season, but he's also been rated pretty highly in these leagues before he moved to Southampton!

I'd never play 4-4-2 myself, it's just useless.

I'm not saying Lovren is a poor player, but if you look at the rest of the side he is the poorest player. He's just an alright centre back to me rather than someone good. If Southampton continue their good run, then maybe his ratings will improve.

Squad wise, how does this look;

That's my point. How can you deem 4-4-2 useless when Bayern Munich won the Champions League with that system!

And before anyone tries to say it was 4-2-3-1, it was 4-4-2 with Muller off Mandzukic.

It's like saying this is useless...

...But this isn't.

It's a system everyone uses, plays with two strikers with one helping out defensively, like Rooney, Muller, Reus, I could go on.

I played 4-4-2 quite a bit last system, I try to avoid playing 4-2-3-1 as the system is overused and bores me.

So how is it useless then?

I was being sarcastic, I'm a big advocate of 4-4-2 and play it a lot myself.

Just claim it's 4-4-1-1 

I think it was 2-4-4 because the wingers and full backs were very attacking.

I like it mate, big improvement on what you had. Crying out for a right back though.

Thanks mate, i would probably play Townsend and Ben Arfa and play Depay on either wing sometimes too if there are any injuries or anything.
