The Culture Cup round 6
First topic message reminder :
Happily, the first Spice Girls Single not to go to Number 1 was Stop, it was kept off top spot by Run DMC vs Jason Nevins - It's Like That.
seanmichaels wrote:Rowley wrote:seanmichaels wrote:Rowley wrote:JuliusHMarx wrote:I think I'll upset Jeff now and say that Blackberry Way is a better song than Waterloo Sunset.
Why would the fact you're a moron upset me?
As an aside though another Move song, Flowers in the Rain was the first song ever played on Radio One.
That could and should have been posted on me remarkably unpopular Music anecdotes thread....
Sean, if the thread had been called useless music trivia it almost certainly would have been. I have any number of such facts I could amaze you good people with.
Hit me.

The women are staggering attractive though.
It is called slopestyle Windows. The men's and women's snowboard slopestyle was at the weekend. Very entertaining but the judging is as consistent and reliable as the BBBoC's.
Someone called Anna Segal was just on. She is quite nice but not even in the top 10 lookers I have seen this morning.
Standard is high.
How is Sylvia Bertagna doing. She really deserves a good run this year.

She did alright. Katie Summerhayes, the Brit, has literally just finished her second run. She is in 6th. She stacked it on her first run.
She is one of the uglier ones as well, unfortunately.

It's all over. Dara Howell from Canada has just won gold. Some septic came second and another Canadian in bronze.
Ms Howell didn't win the Tino Cup of Fitness though. Not ugly by any means, but there has been better this morning.

Galted, it is easier if you are going to southern Sweden to fly to Copenhagen and then head to the small port of Helinsborg from there it is a short ferry journey to the Swedish side and the port of Helsingor.

T'is true, hair goes curly and unmanageable if it gets longer than extremely short. Given your views on man bags can only begin to speculate where you stand on men using straighteners.

Strangely enough, Rotherham was on the TV last week. Don't suppose you watch The Rugby Club on Sky do you? It is Union so doubt you do, but Rotherham are doing rather well in the Championship and were featured on it. Panned around the city center and some church somewhere.

Yep, pretty optimistic actually. Forward pack is young and developing nicely with lots of strength in depth. Have two front row Lions amongst the replacements at the moment. Parling to come back in to add to the bench.
Signs that Farrel is going to play much flatter these days, 12Trees starting to find his feet. Tuilagi, Yarde and Wade all to come back amongst the squad.
Lots to be positive about. Ireland at home is a real test though.

I used to play rugby at school. Once I was tackled into touch on the corner flag and our coach shouted "Galted! Use your pace and your power!", of which I had neither. My team and some of the opposition started laughing.

In the absence of a kicking 12 someone like Tuilagi or preferably Burgess.
Assuming Burgess makes the transition. So you have Tuilagi at 12 and Burrell at 13? Again, God help us all. May as well not bother with wingers and just stick another couple of flankers out there.
You want to win the WC, you need to beat the SH teams. Statistics tell you you need to score 4 tries on average to do that. We won't do that with either Manu or Barritt at 12. You need a passer, preferably one with kicking game, something 36 can do.
