Post was too long for me to get to that point, pity, my short attention span costs me yet again. Here is a palindrome question you can feel free to use. What is the only top 20 hit single where both the band and the title are palindromes?

They oughta do a peace concert in Tikrit then do follow ups in Aleppo and Donetsk. Get everyone to hold hands and sway together.
That would almost certainly solve all of the world's problems. A-Ha or Spandau Ballet could be the support act?
Anyone watching the Euro athletics? Some nice tortured gash in the heats of the 800m. Nice cooling down eye candy after Glasgow.

Was it "Palindromes" by "Palindromes" from the album "Palindromes"? It was a big hit in Syria in 1984 (you didn't specify WHICH charts!)Rowley wrote:JuliusHMarx wrote:Nice use of 'eventuates' LBD

It was alright, didn't realise that a Salmon's nuggets were that big, but I suppose with all that spawning.

I'm beginning to experiment with Fish but salmon is a complete no no. Struggle with the texture of prawns as well. Calamari ok.

On the assumption that by "experiment" you mean of the eating variety, then start with oily fish like Mackrel, and Pilchards and then move on...
If you dont mean eating them, then I believe Dolphins copulate for fun if that helps?

You would have thought northerners like Dave would love to know facts about the tube. Like kids and their Dinosaur books. They may never see one but it is nice to know.

If I was ever to grow a beard, it would be a Curly Pickard beard. Great stuff. I'm not him though.
As for reverse linealness, probably not, as I don't really have time for that nonsense any more.

I was reading a boxing article from about like 1870 summat last night, took me a while to realise that 'nob' meant 'head'.

They also used to refer to heart as bottom. The first time I saw this it said something like Cribb displayed a remarkable amount of bottom, which confused me somewhat, I thought it was some sort of diversionary tactic.

It wasn't 1870, it was 1829.
Not a great difference you would think, but then it is the same difference as between 1970 and 1929 which is quite a difference. About 41 years as it happens.
