Still cannot see any of Union's
Has anyone hypothesised if Julius/Tino are Northern Irish radio broadcaster Gerry Anderson?

Doesn't matter, we have to move on. The culture cup is bigger than any badly dressed bloke with an insect obsession.
Jules is a quite different matter, I liked him.

They're great Union and Adam.
Perfectly depicts my current situation in both instances.

High praise indeed, a bit of photoshop and a winning wit and the world is your oyster.

Susan Powell off of BBC Weather is beautiful. Would love to talk precipitation with her over a few bottles of Pinot noir.

Not sure about that one, sean. In a certain light she looks like a thinner version of Kellie Maloney.

Are you watching that? Incredible. I've caught 10 mins or so of it the last 2 nights. Frank was saying he hasn't decided whether he's going to smoke cigar or become a feminist once the op is done. Has to be a wind up for sure.
Gary Busey as well, he is mental! I need some of whatever he's on.

And in the other light she looks like a very unremarkable looking woman.
Morning all, I appreciate this has been a tough couple of weeks for us culture cuppers, but lets look forward not back, Jules will be back next week possibly. Tina/Cliff might decide to put his legal troubles behind him and join back in, Rick might do us a Friday quiz. The glass is half full.
What are we all doing this fine bank holiday weekend?

Talking of Busey, the only person who is just as insane is Meatloaf. And when the two appeared on the American Apprentice:

Yes but she's got a nice personality and I like the weather.
Cricket tomorrow, will probably confirm relegation, then going Brokeback with our Aussie OP. Former chairman has a £9m estate and we are going to go camping / fishing on his river. Beside myself with excitement.

Not a Bank Holiday in Scotland this weekend. Am sure the nationalists will manage to blame the Union somehow.

Wedding in Harrogate for me Sundy, since you were all civil enough to ask. Harrogate is about as posh as it gets in Yorkshire, so will cost me a bleeding fortune. A room in the place has cost £160 odd quid and that is with the wedding party discount. As a Yorkshireman you can well imagine how that one stung.

Sunday wedding? Controversial.
Didn't Coogan and Bryden stop at a restaurant in Harrogate?

I can tell you now. It's gonna end in tears.
At that price breakfast better be included... and free use of the house shotgun and hounds.
Harrogate looked lovely on the TdF though. I especially liked the street scape with all those nice shop windows flashing by.

Is a bank holiday Sean, so no problem with the wedding being Sunday, is also 12th anniversary for TSMR and myself on Monday. Might take her for lunch on the way home if the hangover is tolerable.

Re: The Culture Cup Round 6 - new but not really improved
sorry sean, no.
But I've fallen into a river in the UK. Actually it was a swamp covered in leaves which I thought was solid ground.
Didn't notice any brook trout or hornyhead chub (before the hypothermia set in) but there must have been some action going on off-carse.

Look, the culture cup is on its last legs already. Do you genuinely believe a discussion about fishing is what we need now? I know killing a thread is as natural to Sean as ballsing up the quote function, but lets not tempt fate.

Sorry Sean, no, unless fishing is a euphemism for "Gone to the local dam, and got drunk on a boat with your mates and some bikini clad girls"

OK scrap that one
All the answers have an American state in them
first 5
1 Sharleen Spiteri is the lead singer of which Scottish band?
2 Which US river is the fourth longest in the world?
3 Colonel Harland Sanders was the founder of which modern day fast food chain of restaurants? KFC (Union)
4 Which 1987 Coen brothers comedy film starred Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter?
5 Australian actress Nicole Kidman won an Oscar for her portrayal of which famous novelist in 2002 film "The Hours"?
