Golf gadgets
I'm interested in purchasing a training gadget but am not sure which one would be best. Does anybody have any recommendations?
I like the look of Game Golf but that doesn't really help me with how I'm swinging the club or striking the ball. So I'm now looking at the Zepp 3D Swing Sensor or the SkyCaddie Skypro. Are these worth the money or just a bit gimicky? Is there anything else out there that I should be looking at?
Thanks.

The Explanar looks like an interesting concept.

There's a lot of these kind of things around - what are you aiming to work on primarily?

I know what I need to work on in my swing but I think having one of these gadgets would help me to 'see' whether I'm getting into good positions.
I know a decent phone/camera would enable me to see my actual swing but the Zepp seems to provide a lot more i.e. club head speed.

If that's true, get a decent high-speed camera and some analysis software. Could try http://evolvr.thegolfevolution.com/ but there's probably a lot more around.Humpyd wrote:I know what I need to work on in my swing but I think having one of these gadgets would help me to 'see' whether I'm getting into good positions.

A high speed camera and "analysis software" have now overtaken a decent pro giving you lessons? Who'da thunk that?
