I went by your old place of work today. I had to get 16 extra blocks from Austral Masonry in Prospect.

Nice pub there called The Royal Cricketers Arms (with nice beers) but I opted for 2 VBs in your honour. The first one didn't touch the sides.
I'd been a little stressed out just prior (quality control issues with the blocks I wanted and eventually got) and it was sort of hot.
Thought I'd give myself a treat.

Do you know the one? It's all alone on top of a hill surrounded by paddocks... next to the motorway. There's a place called "Wet & Wild" near there now.

Did Wet & Wild in Gold Coast. Smashed up some kids on the big slide where it calculates your position (8 lanes) with some kind of witch magic.

Never really a big VB drinker whilst I was there. Was a Tooheys New man by prefeerence.

Actually, I might be mistaken... I think it was superfly who said he worked at Wonderland - which closed down in 2004.

Think of them myself, do tend to google the lyrics so I get them right and can avoid the less obvious bits from the chorus.

The odd one out I had in mind was The Living Daylights, as the others were for for Roger Moore films and that one is for a Dalton film

Living Daylight was A-ha, Duran Duran did View to a Kill. The other Dalton was Licence to Kill by Gladys Knight and the Pips. Wings were Live and Let Die.

Being a geek and having read the Fleming books the Craig films are closer to the spirit of Bond, as it appears on the page than most of the films. Also you sometimes need to strip things back and start again, and after the abomination that was Die Another Day this was absolutely necessary.

Octopussy wins it for me, best Bond, best Bond girl, best theme song, best use of wildlife in a Bond film, best villain, best use of a tennis player in a Bond film, best ever bust-up on top of an aeroplane, clown getting killed, even had Faberge eggs which we'd recently learned about in school when it came out. Haven't read any of the novels though.
