First topic message reminder :

Round 3 up - Black and White - songs with a colour in the title/ band name

Make sure to pick your 3 favourites from the list below.

The title for the next round is Cats and Dogs - Songs/ Bands with an animal in there somewhere. Send your top 3 picks to me on a first come, first served basis. Next poll will be up some time next week (Wednesday to Friday in a non committal kind of way or if my pick is in the lead)

Results

*fanfare of trumpets to herald the triumphant return of your Hero

Two absolute classics romped the voting this week with Stella's Golden Brown by the Stranglers & Tino's Paint it Black by the Stones each garnering 15 votes. Who ever said this board didn't have style or taste?

With both Stella and Tino gaining maximum points then they've made up some ground on the current runaway leader but not much as 'Mr Consistent' Compelling & Rich picks Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison.

Adam also keeps his name in the mix with AC/DC's Back in Black and Superfly breaks his duck with the 80's classic by New Order.

Trussman takes some time out from his WW2 lectures to get a solid 5 points as well as DancingWeeMan, I muster a meager 3 points with Prince's Purple Rain to leave me in 5th place overall and Davie, Julius & Hammersmith bring up the rear with 2 points each.

I've just chosen Stones songs for all of them. I haven't for the next round though so that could be it.

If I fall out of contention towards the end (some time in 2017) and you and Superfly are close, then just PM your picks and I'll vote for it. No matter how sh*te it is.

Your pretentiousness is still preferable to anything from Superfly.
