It was pretty much as you were in the Fantasy League.  While LadyPutt had four of her picks finish in the top 20 it was not enough to overhaul Kwinigolfer who had three picks score points and take the win in Bawston.  EmmDee57 had four of his picks score points but one of them was for bad play.  1GrumpyGolfer, Davie, Raycastleunited, SetupDetermines, and Super_Realist all had three picks score points.  Davie was like EmmDee57 as he also had one of his picks socre points through poor play.  BlueCoverman, Eyetoldyouso, Hibbz, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, Pedro, Sand, and TheCleaver all had two picks score points.  AlciG, Beninho, CJB, I'm Never Wrong, RedRage, and SirBenson all had one pick score points.

Fabian Gomez had the round of the day with a 64 and Chesson Hadley had a bad day at the office with an 80; Hadley also finished in last place.

The second leg of the playoffs see the tour head north from New Jersey to Massachusetts. TPC Boston plays host over the Friday to Monday, Labor Day weekend, to the 100, sorry 99, players left standing.  Sergio Garica is resting something having already been assured of a spot in the BMW Championship, the third leg of the playoffs.  Rory McIlroy is back and as the number one player in the world again.  Chris Kirk partnered McIlroy in the final rounds last year and outplayed his partner and the rest of the field to win.

Mahan is the only player to have teed it up for all 33 playoff events however, the missed cut at the Barclays puts this run into jeopardy; a high finish is needed to keep the streak going.  Former champions Henrik Stenson, Rory McIlroy, Webb Simpson, Charley Hoffman, and Phil Mickelson are in the field but Vijay Singh and Adam Scott didn't advance from the Barclays.  Steve Stricker, Tiger Woods, and Olin Browne didn't even qualify for the Barclays.

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Order of Merit: The person with the most total points at the completion of the season will be declared the Fantasy League Champion. If there is a tie for total points at the completion of the season, those involved will be declared Co-Champions.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to
check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Thanks LP, I was aware of your hot pursuit . . . . . Run
I seem to do OK on the Category 1 tournaments, progressively worse on the Cat 2's and 3's. The Sergio of Grumpy's League?

Thanks Grumps.
