Music Cup Round 6 - Cigarettes & Alcohol (PICK 3!!)
Music Cup 2015 Round 6: Cigarettes & Alcohol
First topic message reminder :
Results from Round 5!
Head and Bush come first!
Yes in the battle of Body Parts the melancholic Radiohead managed to hang onto the coat-tails of my inspired last minute choice of Kate 'au natural' Bush's Wuthering Heights. Samo gains 10 points to put him into the mix as we enter the later rounds.
A plethora of runner-ups then with the top two of Compelling & Dick_Ragless both scoring strongly with Arctics Monkeys (most overrated band of the past 20 years) and the cockrock ballad by Cutting Crew, air guitars at the ready Wrasslin fans. Davie's Fat Bottomed Girls and Superfly's choice of Dolphin's fave quiff haired Mancunian fill out the runner up spots.
Tino and Adam both score 4 points with Reef and Meatloaf but is that enough to keep them near the top come the closing rounds? Julius's pick of REM's Everybody Hurts has us reaching for the razorblades to selfharm, CJB's pick of Streets has Rowley reaching for a baseball bat to inflict it.
Oh and Galted had 1 person vote for Up your Bum. Well done sir.
So the scores are...
Next round will be...Countries & Cities, songs or Artists that contain either the name of a Country or City! PM me the usual!

Or an extra 4 votes to the person who voted for them last time.

Thanks Jeff. I'm moved.
Adam: If you don't vote for mine in the next round, everything you have ever said on here about a certain band/singer is a complete lie.

Results!
Dancingweeman courts controversy this week (well Adam moaned about it) with his winner of Thin Lizzy because it was chosen in a previous round, rules are rules though (or lack of) and I'm not going back through previous rounds each week to check so feck it!
Tina plays catch up at the top with his miserable choice of The Drugs Don't Work, ironically I met Richard Ashcroft a few years ago and he was certainly prophetic in his title looking at him.
Adam and I share the spoils in 3rd place, him picking one of the iconic figures of Hip Hop, whilst I pick a geek from Sheffield.
Compelling and Rick both play it safe to remain at the top with their choices of Oasis & Nirvana...YAWN!
CJB scores a respectable 5 with Snoopy Doggy Woggy Doo Daa.
Nadz joins for the first week and already overtakes Galted with the bizarre choices of D12's Purple Pills, think some may have been taken by those that voted for that crock of crap.
And last up is a blast from my past in Terrorvision's Tequila, many a student night was had belting that out (one ended in me drinking the aforementioned drink from my best mate's sister's bellybutton) and the classic Heroin by Velvet Underground, that really should have got more votes.
Scores on the doors
It's nailtight at the top with a threesome but not one of those you dream about, more like when your Mrs tells you she'd like one and then invites your dad. Worse still is it's being followed up now by Adam & I. At the point? Galted. That just explains everything.
Next Round!
Hundreds & Thousands
Any song in which the title or artist has a number in it. As usual send me a PM with your top 3 choices (or just the 1 if you pick crap ones like Rowley and Galted that no-one else in their right mind would choose).

It's a witch hunt now Galted. You probably made the mistake of picking a song that actually fit the criteria for selections. Easy mistake to make.

You're right, Jeff. I deserve 0 with such a lack of attention to detail.
