Daddy long legs are a nightmare for cricket groundsman. Their larvae are called Leatherjackets feed on the roots of the grass and can devastate the square. Season is done but the crows are digging up the bastards on my square at the moment.

Snapped gear selector rod. I was ok until the f*cking thing snapped spent an hour wrestling it to get out of reverse gear. Right outside an old people's home so if there had been an emergency sh*t would hit the fan. Then after I managed to fix it the f*cker flagged me down and said he'd reported it to the police. I'll never get on the most wanted list now. Police turned up and said you have to be careful where you park. Ok officer I'll take care to break down in a more convenient place next time. Dopey c*nt.

I quite often play in the dads games but one of the dads also plays for the 2nd’s. He roped me in as they were short of players. Told me it would be a laugh.

Even the second 15 games are way more competitive than I figured they would be. It made me realise how easy the dads game is.

I now hate the b*stard.

I played hooker first half. Told the skipper at HT he either moves me somewhere else in the second half or they can play with 14 men.

Played the second half at number 9. Nice and safe there.

Depends what pub you go to. Work lunches here tend to be at ketchup pubs so you would be stupid to order anything other than a panini. If you lunch with windows however, opt for the a la carte menu, or the tasting menu.

A burger comes in a sesame seed bun...anything else. smash the f*cking place up. Sister-in-law took us all out for her birthday a while back, I ordered a burger and it came on a wooden platter....everyone else got a plate. I asked the "waiter" what the deal was, he didn't know so I asked him to take it back and put it on a plate like everyone else stating that if I wanted to eat my meal off a chopping board I'd go sit in the kitchen of another restaurant and take my food from under the chef's nose before he'd finished preparing it.
