Thought I would start a new thread for this Test as I see some comments have had to be added on to the First Test post. Yes, Warner has a chance to go for the 400 but it's still going to need a monumental effort. With Australia already one-up in the series, there's more leeway for Smith to allow him to go on if he gets close.

Australia's plan will be to bat for another 70 ish overs, which will allow Warner more than enough time to pass 400, if he can. Still, a big IF.
