Never mind mate.

I think I may have undersold the den a little bit.  It isn't just some boring old wigwam design.  It's a 3 sided structure with cantilever supports and a (when completed) waterproof roof. The ribs are already in place on the roof, I just need to lay some more support slats and some ferns and then cover it in moss to waterproof it.  When phases II & III are completed, it will sh*t all over anything Galted Ray Mears could come up with.

Out for beers in Nottingham with friends tonight, and then back in bradders tomorrow for football and chill...

I built one when I was 12 - I'm the oldest of 5 so I built it all on my own, It was better than Noah's ark. We'd had some steam bent beams from the roof - 6 intact ones and some boards, it ended up looking like a grounded ship. Then accidentally burnt it down with celebratory firelighters. I didn't leave my room for a month.
