The upper reaches of the leaderboard were jam packed with Fantasy League picks.  Twenty five players got themselves into a scoring position; sixteen of them were picks and the eight players that finished in a tie for seventh or better were all picks.  Seven Fantasy Leaguers had the winner in Daniel Berger.  AlciG and BlueCoverman had the most picks score points with five and AlciG had the winner too.  EmmDee57, GolferMartin, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, Sand, SetupDetermines, SirBenson, and TheCleaver all had four scoring picks of significant quality.  Davie, Eyetoldyouso, Hibbz, I'm Never Wrong, and Kwinigolfer all had three scoring picks.  LadyPutt, LL Cool Nay, and Super_Realist each had two scoring picks.  LadyPutt's were pretty damn good but it wasn't enough to move her that much higher on the leaderboard.

Dustin Johnson shot 63 for the low round of the day and that earned points for almost two thirds of the Fantasy Leaguers.

A quieter week on Tour as the big guns start their final preparations for next week's US Open.  World number six, Dustin Johnson, headlines the field and as I'm typing this I can't seem to connect to PGATour.com so I have no idea who the defending champion is or who in the field has won here before so this blurb is even shorter than usual.

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Five picks managed to shoot 66 or lower to be in the Top 5 Low Round scores and one of them went one better by shooting 65 to tie for low round of the day.  Seung-Yul Noh is in the lead with Tom Hoge and Shawn Stefani.  Owen10ozzy picked Noh and added another scoring pick to share the lead with EmmDee57 and Eyetoldyouso who each had three scoring picks.  Three other Fantasy Leaguers, BlueCoverman, Davie, and Sand, also had two scoring picks.  AlciG, Kwinigolfer, LL Cool Nay, McLaren, SetupDetermines, SirBenson, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver all had one scoring pick.

We're in the new house! The almost there trend continues as no one managed to keep a full set for the weekend. LL Cool Nay and McLaren came the closest by losing just the one pick. The upper reaches of the leaderboard were jam packed with Fantasy League picks. Twenty five players got themselves into a scoring position; sixteen of them were picks and the eight players that finished in a tie for seventh or better were all picks. Seven Fantasy Leaguers had the winner in Daniel Berger. AlciG and BlueCoverman had the most picks score points with five and AlciG had the winner too. EmmDee57, GolferMartin, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, Sand, SetupDetermines, SirBenson, and TheCleaver all had four scoring picks of significant quality. Davie, Eyetoldyouso, Hibbz, I'm Never Wrong, and Kwinigolfer all had three scoring picks. LadyPutt, LL Cool Nay, and Super_Realist each had two scoring picks. LadyPutt's were pretty damn good but it wasn't enough to move her that much higher on the leaderboard.

Dustin Johnson shot 63 for the low round of the day and that earned points for almost two thirds of the Fantasy Leaguers.

If TheCleaver had stuck with his pick by numbers selections we would have had the first ever tie in Fantasy League history. Perhaps a coulda, woulda, shoulda moment but he did pick the event winner.
