Three Fantasy Leaguers, Davie, Pedro, and SirBenson, had four picks score points and in SirBenson's case it was all of his picks.  None of them had the winner in Henrik Stenson but all scored highly.  Eyetoldyouso, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, Owen10ozzy, and Sand all had three picks score points.  Eyetoldyouso had all of his picks score and along with I'm Never Wrong and Owen10ozzy had Stenson in their line ups.  Beninho, BlueCoverman, EmmDee57, GolferMartin, LadyPutt, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver all had two picks score points.  Both BlueCoverman and EmmDee57 had Stenson.  AlciG, and SetupDetermines both had one scoring pick.

The BMW International Open in Germany sees former winner Henrik Stenson headlines the field after getting a headstart by finishing the U.S. Open earlier than other players.  Pablo Larrazabal is the defending champion and one of several multiple winners of the BMW International Open.  Other former winners in the field are Fabrizio Zanotti, Danny Willett, David Horsey, Nick Dougherty, Niclas Fasth, David Howell, Miguel Angel Jimenez, and another multiple winner in Thomas Bjorn.  

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.
Pick 1 amateur identified by (Am) after their name.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

A slow start for the majority of the picks saw few Fantasy Leaguers trouble the scorers.  Beninho's Raphael Jacquelin shot 65 to lead by one shot from BlueCoverman's Oliver Fisher.  SirBenson's Thorbjorn Olesen is a shot further back and two other players shot 67 to round out the Top 5 Low Round scores.

Ooff, the selections at the BMW International left a lot to be desired and more picks missed the cut at one under than made the weekend. Cut bonuses were hard to find too; only six were awarded and all were for Category A. I'm Never Wrong and Owen10ozzy have the most picks left with six and both earned one of the cut bonuses. Beninho, Davie, Kwinigolfer, Pedro, Sand, and TheCleaver all have five picks left and the early leader, Beninho, was the only one to earn a cut bonus. AlciG, BlueCoverman, SirBenson, and Super_Realist all have four picks left and AlciG and SirBenson both earned a cut bonus. EmmDee57, Eyetoldyouso, GolferMartin, LadyPutt, and setupDetermines all have three picks left and GolferMartin's remaining picks were in Category A.

Benjamin Hebert shot 64 early in the day and that was matched by Kiradech Aphibarnrat later in the day. Aphibarnrat was picked by GolferMartin, LadyPutt, SirBenson, and Super_Realist.

Three Fantasy Leaguers, Davie, Pedro, and SirBenson, had four picks score points and in SirBenson's case it was all of his picks. None of them had the winner in Henrik Stenson but all scored highly. Eyetoldyouso, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, Owen10ozzy, and Sand all had three picks score points. Eyetoldyouso had all of his picks score and along with I'm Never Wrong and Owen10ozzy had Stenson in their line ups. Beninho, BlueCoverman, EmmDee57, GolferMartin, LadyPutt, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver all had two picks score points. Both BlueCoverman and EmmDee57 had Stenson. AlciG, and SetupDetermines both had one scoring pick.

Round three finished on Sunday with rounds of 70 needed to make the Top 10 Low Round scores. Seven picks managed that and lots of points were distributed. Both I'm Never Wrong and Pedro had three of their remaining picks score points. BlueCoverman, Davie, Eyetoldyouso, Owen10ozzy, Sand, SetupDetermines, and SirBenson all had two of their picks score points. AlciG, EmmDee57, GolferMartin, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver each had one pick score points.

Years ago, I watched a Seniors Golf tournament. My recollection of it was that the winner was a journeyman golfer who had never won on the regular tour. But at this event he had won, beating the likes of Jack Nicklaus etc. In his post tournament interview all he said was "XX number of years a pro golfer. Never won anything. But today; today I have beaten them. Today, I AM THE MAN!" He kept repeating "I am the man."

That's how I feel. Been playing this game for some time, and never got anywhere. But this week. I AM THE MAN! (Repeats endlessly.)
