Compton "Taking a break"

Whilst this sort of thing does seem more common and slightly less dramatic than it may have done a few years ago Comptons demons seem to have got the better of him and he is taking an idefinate break from County cricket, and effectively saving england making the decision to drop him from the test side which wouldve been pretty much certain anyway.

I hope this doesnt spell the end of him, he clearly has something still to offer at county level even if he hasnt been able to handle the pressure of internationals.
His test career is surely over though, a third chance seems hugely unlikely even if he returns at career best next season.
