Terribly sad news. Still one of my favourite films of all time (despite what Galted thinks). Also enjoyed him in another of my favourite all-time films, "Blazing Saddles"

Yep, I will second that RIPing.

And I do think that the Big Lebowski is one of your favourite films of all time, SerialDAVE, I just don't think that it's one of the Coens' best. Having said that, they did set the standard pretty high, despite the odd failure, and the BL would compare favourably with most other films.
