In the Bag?
Not the clubs you have but the other stuff you keep in there, especially anything odd.
I guess firstly the basics like whether you have a jacket, spare towel, extra glove, plasters, how many tees etc.
But then the more odd ball things like are you a loo roll carrier or do you keep a luck charm hidden away?
I have the following
Plasters
Jacket
white wooden tees
balls
pitch mark repairer
a few foreign coin ball markers
range finder battery
sun lotion
Ibuprofen
paracetamol
water
Actually pretty boring but I like to tidy the contents of my bag out quite often so I don't end up finding a rotten sandwich a few weeks down the line or carry extra weight.
EDIT: Can you also state what sort of bag you have (pencil, tour, full size, lightweight, stand etc) and what type of trolley you have if you use one.
I have a lightweight bag with only 3 pockets and don't often use a trolley unless it is a 36 hole day out.

Re: In the Bag?
Nix the Plasters, foreign coin ball markers, range finder battery (or range finder for that matter), sun tan lotion from Mac's list, and add a rule book and you have my bag.
Though I do have every colour tee under the sun, wouldn't like to confuse a lucky tee just because they all looked the same.
EDIT: Plus an umbrella. Though not exactly IN my bag.

Just had a splurge on the direct golf flash sales so have got a new bag. Was amazed at the amount of Poopie I was trundling round the course. Pretty much the same items plus waterproof trousers, cap and brolly.

I used to have a rule book but lost it and now just have the R and A app. Never actually had to use the app yet so would like to hear if anyone can compare the book vs the app?
Added a little edit to the OP, just thought it would be good to know what sort of bag and trolley people use.

Motocaddy trolley bag and trolley. Bag free with trolly so opted for that over the equivalent Powakaddy.
Kwin - LL is glad I have a trolley, saves his legs apparently, although Shergar could give him a ride I guess, lazy sod.

Also have small Cleveland carry bag (but not pencil) for the odd time I get out to have a few holes. In that, couple of balls, tees and a glove.

This is all a bit boring so far. I was hoping people would have all sorts of odd ball items in their bags.

Re: In the Bag?
Okay, I'll bite. I have a redneck cart cover. For monetary reasons this year the cart fleet does not have the flip down cover that goes over the top of the bag to keep your clubs dry. To counteract this a couple of us have the redneck cart cover which is made up of a huge trash can / dustbin bag sliced open and three spring clamps to hold it to the top of the cart. It ain't pretty but it's effective.
Think that's the strangest thing I have in the bag.

Re: In the Bag?
Mac - strange that you carry a ranger finder battery but no range finder. Do you use it as a ball marker?
I carry insect repellant for summer evening rounds - my course has lakes and a stream.
Otherwise I have all the usual boring stuff. I like to carry, but I also like lots of pockets to organise the bits and pieces, so there aren't many bags designed for me. I really want a waterproof bag but they have hardly any pockets.
I once found a tee with "Ray's Tee" written on it - I've been carrying it in my bag for at least a decade, saving it for that special occasion, like when I need a straight drive to par the 18th to win the Open.

Re: In the Bag?
Ray, the rangefinder is technically on a pouch hanging on the towel ring and not in the bag.
You would have to be a bit of ned to us poker chips as markers.
The ray tee is the sort of stuff I was hoping to hear about.

Quite. Just don't understand why someone would use the poker chip markers - but I increasingly see them on sale in pro shops.

Re: In the Bag?
I use a poker chip. No real reason, I just do. In (very slight and irrelevant) mitigation it is actually a poker chip from the Wynn Las Vegas casino.
I guess I'm a bit of a ned.

NOt sure I understand the argument against Poker Chips. I presume people object to the size?
If you have to move a poker chip, you'll most likely have to move a 2p piece, 10p piece, Danish 5 Kr or whatever you use, so who cares if you use a poker plate or a Nazi coin? What difference does it make to anyone?

Re: In the Bag?
I won a poker chip with the club name on it for a 2 on pro's day and do use that. I find it much easier to get out of my pocket - little markers tend to get lost in the tangle of string attached to the end of my tee.

"If you have to move a poker chip, you'll most likely have to move a 2p piece, 10p piece, Danish 5 Kr or whatever you use"
White tracksuit bottoms are just as practical as any other trouser but wearing them still makes you a ned.
Just something uncouth about the use of a poker chip as a ball marker.

Re: In the Bag?
I'm not a poker chip user Mac, but I don't really see how you could describe it in line in line with tracksuit bottoms.
Surely a 2p or 10p makes you just as much, if not more of a pikey?

Re: In the Bag?
Thanks super. Just googled the SEGG bottle and it looks pretty cool. Might have to get one of those (in fact I will get this one just to unnerve playing partners http://www.savvysassymoms.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/SIGG-Hello-Kitty-Water-Bottles-Halloween1.png ).
"One of those things for getting mud out of your grooves."
You mean one of those brush things. I have had a few of them and it they pretty handy but I lost about 4 and then gave up getting any more.
My rain glove is an old glove, which I actually forget in my list, that I use in the wet so that my current glove doesn't get damaged.

Re: In the Bag?
They're handy bottles because you don't end up with tons of useless plastic hanging around and obviously means you don't have to keep buying water.
Probably paid for itself many times over by now.

Think theres an article somewhere where they tested some dirty irons vs clean ones. Made quite a difference I seem to remember - well worth keeping clean

Re: In the Bag?
The keeping grooves clean, this subject upsets me. Those brush things seem to very quickly become a bit off a mess with the bristles pointing all over the place, and tees quickly become too blunt for the job.
Is there anything else that people use for groove cleaning? A Brillo pad maybe

Re: In the Bag?
Mustputt, mid round I use a towel and a tee. Top tip: put a corner of your towel under a tap on the first tee and cleaning balls and clubs is much easier.
But try and clean my clubs once or twice a week inbetween play. That way the grooves tend not to get clogged up.

You clean your clubs once or twice a week Mac? I'm impressed. I actually quite enjoy cleaning my clubs but never have time. They get cleaned 3 times a year at best. Is everyone else cleaning their clubs that often too?

A poker chip is more or less the same size as a ball. You might as well just leave the ball on the green.
