McLaren may have been the only one to pick the winner in Thorbjorn Olesen but ultimately he didn't have enough quality in his picks to sustain a challenge.  He added two other scoring picks and despite outscoring everyone else in Finish points it wasn't enough to overtake Davie and TheCleaver at the top of the leaderboard.  Davie also had three scoring picks and two of the low round scorers adding to his tally but even that wasn't enough to pass TheCleaver.  TheCleaver had five scoring picks and he needed all of them to take victory.  Both BlueCoverman and Sand had four scoring picks.  AlciG, Beninho, GolferMartin, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, Raycastleunited, and Super_Realist all had three scoring picks.  Eyetoldyouso, Owen10ozzy, Pedro, SetupDetermines, and SirBenson all had two scoring picks.  EmmDee57 and LadyPutt both had one scoring pick.

Three players shot 65 in the final round to toe for the low round.  Haotong Li and David Horsey finished in a tie for second after their rounds; Alexander Levy improved his position somewhat but not enough to get into the top twenty.  Davie had both Horsey and Levy while Eyetoldyouso, Pedro, and SirBenson had Levy.

Danny Willett headlines the field in Turkey as the top ranked player in the world.  He will be teeing it up with the defending champion Victor Dubuisson who also won the first Turkish Open in 2013. Brooks Koepka is the only other player to have won the Turkish Open but he isn't playing.

Due to the limited field size the number of picks is scaled back to two from each category plus reserve.  This is also a no cut event so the usual cut bonuses are not in effect but additional points are available in round two.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 6 players as follows:

Pick 2 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 6 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Thorbjorn Olesen looks like he is the next to blow away a field. Olesen shot 62 to take a six shot lead into round three. Two other picks, Mikko Ilonen and Joakim Lagergren, were in the Top 5 Low Round scores. BlueCoverman had both of those picks in his selection and that was enough to see him tie McLaren for the lead after Olesen's round. Sand, Super_Realist, and TheCleaver each had one of the two scoring picks and they share third place. Eyetoldyouso, GolferMartin, Pedro, and SirBenson also had one of the scoring picks as they get off the mark.

Bernd Wiesberger, David Lipsky, and Gregory Bourdy earned points for the majority of the Fantasy League. I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, Raycastleunited, and TheCleaver each had two of the three. Eight other picks shot 67 to make the Top 10 Low Round scores. TheCleaver added three other scoring picks as he rose to the top of the leaderboard. Kwinigolfer and Raycastleunited added two other scoring picks to their low round scorers and Davie added three other scoring picks to his low round scorer too. McLaren may have been the only one to pick the winner in Thorbjorn Olesen but ultimately he didn't have enough quality in his picks to sustain a challenge. He added two other scoring picks and despite outscoring everyone else in Finish points it wasn't enough to overtake Davie and TheCleaver at the top of the leaderboard. Davie also had three scoring picks and two of the low round scorers adding to his tally but even that wasn't enough to pass TheCleaver. TheCleaver had five scoring picks and he needed all of them to take victory. Both BlueCoverman and Sand had four scoring picks. AlciG, Beninho, GolferMartin, I'm Never Wrong, Kwinigolfer, Raycastleunited, and Super_Realist all had three scoring picks. Eyetoldyouso, Owen10ozzy, Pedro, SetupDetermines, and SirBenson all had two scoring picks. EmmDee57 and LadyPutt both had one scoring pick.

Three players shot 65 in the final round to toe for the low round. Haotong Li and David Horsey finished in a tie for second after their rounds; Alexander Levy improved his position somewhat but not enough to get into the top twenty. Davie had both Horsey and Levy while Eyetoldyouso, Pedro, and SirBenson had Levy.
