Lacey up to his usual standards - just cost Saints a certain try for blowing too soon

Not sure that final pass wasn't forwards either - certainly should have been checked

That try Lacey cost Saints earlier could be the difference now ...

Mallinder converted to put 14 man saints ahead.

They were down to 13 men at one point

Yep when they scored the try - poor defence from Stade with 2 extra men

Saints win. They'll be in Europe next season.

Nicely done by Lee D - not putting the ball in to use more time up despite Lacey telling him to ... now a pen, game over ... Well done Saints, looked like they were out of it for most of that match.

Two petulant sides.Wood should miss the first couple of months of next season for that stamp- Stade fullback could have lost an eye.

Glad I wasnt just being partisan. Couldn't work out why he would stop the game for the knock on before they got near the ball. And clearly a forward pass for their try. Didn't get a good look at the Wood incident.

We've had some finishes this season! Glad to be on the right end of the result! Thought our Lions put in great performances!

Why was this game played at Franklins Gardens, surely these big "final" games should be played at neutral grounds or home and away?

Personally I don't see the incentive to win the Challenge Cup if you don't auto qualify for the Champions Cup.

I think it's ridiculous that Stade Francais won't be in the European Champions Cup on that basis.

Better for them to ignore the Challenge Cup.

Easier to fight on 1 front instead of 2 or 3.

Interesting that so far the two sides that have won in their Pro12 and AP, went out of the pool stages of the European Champions Cup. Being fresher helps.

Big? Nobody would go if it was at a neutral venue. Not sure how the venue gets decided though.
