Leics in big trouble away to Glamorgan. 98/8 off 15.
The game moves on but always dreadful not to use all your overs which could well be the case here.

Glamorgan comfortably on their way to joining Jimbo's boys on finals day. 78/1 off 10 having skittled Leics for just 123.

Two really disappointing games from an entertainment standpoint so far - non events!

Re: NatWest T20 Blast
Craig Overton concedes 19 in the 18th and that's effectively that! Notts to join Hants and Glamorgan on finals day.
Surrey v Bears tomorrow to decide the last spot.

Notts and Surrey for me have the best 2 teams on paper. Would be good to see them play in the semi final and we'll have Glamorgan

Always felt Somerset were a good 20-30 short with those small boundaries and Notts batting line up

Yeah, go well from me as well, Jimbo!

I'll be cheering you and #cranetrain on from my armchair.

If you can beat Notts, I reckon you'll take the trophy. Yes, Bears have home advantage but I doubt they'll have the consistency for two winning performances. Sibley is also a liability in this format - don't make the mistake that Surrey did and get him out early doors if you play them!!

Re: NatWest T20 Blast
Cheers guys. Its a bloody long day! Probably playing the strongest team in the semis but we have a good bowling attack for t20s, Crane able to play is a big plus.
I'll give it a shout from the boundary, should we play Birmingham in the final. 'Keep Sibley on strike!!'

Wicket in the first over for #Cranetrain
Surprised both teams have won the toss and chosen to chase so far - pitch is dry

#Cranetrain with figures of 4-0-22-1 - bowled very nicely, picked up the big wicket of Wessels

Notts 169/7 off their 20. Think Jimbo should be happy enough with that.

Re: NatWest T20 Blast
I agreed with the choice of Mullaney as man of the match. He never looks anything special with the ball but regularly nibbles away at opponents.

Tom Moores looked incredibly out of his depth both times he batted

Re: NatWest T20 Blast
Wow what a recovery by Notts - Samit and Brendan Taylor played magnificently before Dan Christian smeared the final over everywhere and they make 190-4.
Warks need 191 to win

29 runs from 28 balls for Sibley today in 2 innings. I rest my case.

A deserved win and white ball double for Notts. Strength in depth.

Re: NatWest T20 Blast
Well that was a bit disappointing!
Olly, you're right we definitely threw that away. Vince put us in a great position (another class knock from him). Needed the experience of Bailey and Carberry to see us home but they didnt.
Was happy to restrict Notts to 169 especially with their batting line up. Although I did question the decision to bowl first, I would think with our bowling attack we'd be better off defending a score. Crane, Dawson and Afridi, not the easiest to score off!
I did say Notts had the best team on paper in the comp and they deservedly won the title. Never been a massive fan of Gurney but he bowled brilliantly on the day
