I'm going to be the blunt, and probably negative one asking this but realistically what do you see as the future of this fed?

It seems to me whilst the Facebook group is almost constant, the activity on the fed itself is dwindling. I know that people have priorities outside of this, for instance I was unable to promo last time because of work, but in a three week gap between shows we had our lowest return I think I've ever seen, but even in the month or two leading up to that we were averaging around 11 promos per show with some people promoting more than once. I suppose what I'm trying to ask is at what point do you as a creative think of calling time?



Like I say apologies for the negativity, but I feel I'm also trying to be honest asking my question too. Without sounding like a suck up, I'm appreciative to Creative as they've kept gazzy relevant without him being in a title picture which has kept my interest going


On a change of subject unsure as to whether you seen my post in the general chat Chris but feel free to send us a match and I can do it Sunday night watching the NFL. Also will get a promo up

And not unduly negative, it's those thoughts in my own mind that are why this thread is up!

All depends if you feel chat in between shows is needed. We have feedback pages about 6cw stuff and occasional posts and qotds. However as long as I have been an efedder any chat pages have largely consisted of chat that is probably going on in the Facebook group now. My point is chat pages have never been about just show stuff.

I posted the q and a topic because even if it descended into chaos, then at least it was chaos people were taking part in.

I think the more important issue, as Gazzy mentioned, is a few promos over a 3 week show gap. I think we will all agree that's pants really.

I don't have any solutions for activity and keeping people interested. I dont think the issue is show content at all.

I can only speak for myself. I see this as a hobby and enjoy taking part. That's it. Grace could find himself brutally attacked and embarrassed, but as long as he is still a living part of 6CW then I will keep writing for him.

Chat on V2 makes the place seem active and helps people stay involved and interested, we've had loads of discussions about the FB chat in the past and there's no point doing it again really

The state the fed is in now is due to the fact that when people leave there is no one coming in as replacements, there used to be two thriving feds and a lot of interchange between the two and not one is gone and the other is struggling, there is no new blood and the oldies have moved on and not returning like in the past, tbh we are a few active members leaving away from this place just stopping, the interest just doesn't seem to be there anymore

Im enjoying 6cw but i expect a lot of people saw the 3 week show as a summer break more then anything else.

This place will only die if people let it.

I'd prefer more v2 chat, I miss some of it and it helps people popping in and seeing the vibrancy.

We've lost some people and the lack of Feds as a whole doesn't help us bring people. A couple of people have also dipped in passion and also people have gotten older, which cuts some of your hobby preference and time.

There's new stuff happening there, but it may also be in the future that tag teams aren't stuck in the tag team division, but can be fluidly across divisions.

Yeah tbh I still enjoy it, I'm not really fussed that gazzy had a particularly rotten year because its ultimately led somewhere, and kept me entertained along the way. Like yourself I do this as a hobby, it allows me a creative outlet when the rest of my life is pretty mundane and work centric

I have noticed that the chat on here is good when it's buzzing. I thought the Chatterbox was good fun.

Summer is always tough with holidays and stuff. I do think it's tough for the GM's when people just leave without saying, or launch their toys.

It's a small roster, but it's a good one.

What were the plans for Engel? I know the first show after NOG you asked me to write something which to me was veryyyy interesting but we had to back out cos Pete went all nonce - and I really wanna know what the plans were lol

I can't really say too much in case of any return and also cos it twists what's going on with other things.

I had been tempted to revisit Xtreme with the main players and blur in the King of Xtreme thing, though

For the record, Engel got so much effort into his character and making stories around what he was and it bugs me that belts were why mattered

Is it easier booking feuds for the world titles than for the UK, TV and International ones? Do you feel there is now too many lower level titles?

1. A chance, although one that diminished greatly when Zhi passed away (not really). Dicey vs Zhi was in thoughts pretty much from before NOG the year before.

I don't think anyone who said we shouldn't always let the GTG winner then go on and win the main event is wrong, but it'll happen a lot.

As may be clear, I've felt Wood needs a change for a bit and he also got handicapped a bit by Thunder disappearing. He had to go take over something that wasn't fully set up for him, and halted some character development. I feel the best thing for Wood as part of the show, the character and Liam is to have a different challenge, and thankfully Nando has stepped up with Cerberus to make it a good time for someone to come send him on his way.

2. Depends. Sometimes no, I'm not sure Cassius got the best run of feuds, and sometimes yes. It's sometimes harder to have someone who is world title level then go and lose.

3. People just dropping away. It's of course their right, but doesn't mean it isn't annoying.

4. Less long term than usual, although long term plans at merely thoughts as do much changes. The roster thinning and waning interests mean I don't wanna too much with future ideas, but try balance.

For example, on the risks of planning ahead, I wanted three matches to top the bill of NOG, had them in my mind straight after last year's. They were:

Cassius vs Dicey
Wood vs Thunder
Engel vs Joshua

Things didn't work out that way (and another reason people complaining about their positions or characters can be annoying!)

Engel v Joshua would have been good but there isn't much else to do with the character. I was struggling even before I left. If King of Extreme came back I might do it but not for a long run.....really difficult to promo without with him and keep it fresh.

Still has a few records for the GtG intact so an appearance their would still be on the cards. I know my leaving messed up storylines; one with Cerberus that didn't happen I know still grates. But I do think it was best in the long run, even if not done in the best of manners.

The Thunder v Wood match would have been interesting. How did you plan to keep interest in it over the year? Who was going to be the heel and the face or was it two friends having a jaw dropping match with a hug at the end?

Do you or did you have any ideas for other tournaments or events away from the normal ppvs?

It's a fake case that has no standing I think. Just to get one up on OC but nothing in it. Class it as DiBiases million dollar belt.

It's the same as an FFTR case. He has that and the shot he got given.

For the record, i have never had a title and so dont know what I am missing. My decisions were more personal. Work and making time for my relationship with a potential Engel Jr. on the way.
