Sadam Ali pulled off an upset to capture Miguel Cotto's WBO junior middleweight title. Close fight, Cotto appeared to damage his bisep. Ali's got a ud decision 115-113, 115-113 and 116-112. Biggest victory of Ali's career. Cotto retires 41-6.

Farewell, Cotto. Fine career. Some odd decisions - facing Trout and Ali and getting the L, but he took on all the big names, evenged the cheater and scumbag Margarito, and breathed life into a sport that was dying when he joined it. Be well, Miguel.
