Six Nations Competition - Final Leaderboard
So the final weekend of this year's Six Nations which saw France hang on in Rome to beat Italy, Wales win the Grand Slam in Cardiff and England and Scotland play out an epic draw at Twickenham.
There were plenty with chances to win this competition going into the last three games. No 7&1/2 called the Italy 14-25 France game correct, the first correct score of this year's competition so took an an advantage in the first game. Despite Wales being unbeaten in this year's Six Nations and going for the Grand Slam at home only 46% went for them to beat Ireland. No-one however went for a draw in the England 38-38 Scotland game so that meant plenty didn't score much from the later games.
That meant No 7&1/2 was able to take win in Week 5 and move to the top of the overall leaderboard winning the competition from Tattie Scones RRN by just eight points.
Tattie Scones RRN, Taylorman, No 9 and Pete330v2 all called the most games the right way getting 13 out of 15 while compelling and rich got the highest weekly score of 104 pts in week 4.
So congratulations to No 7&1/2 on winning the Six Nations Competition

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus (Happy St David's Day)...
Well Round 1 2nd, Round 2 23rd and Round 3 3rd.. means going into Round 4 I'm 1st Overall...
That's not a bad place to be to defend the last years title...
@Sportform - has anyone done a back to back win ...

Cheers Sportform...
Going to be squeeky bum time on this game as well as the real tournament..
I'll be going for broke and predicting a Welsh Grand Slam (which is 50:50), but also sticking with my very first thoughts before the 6 Nations started and go for an Italy and Scotland win as well...
Going to be an inspired prediction or a text book way to throw a back to back competition win away..

I'll take 24th. I thought I'd be nearer the bottom after predicting a French win at Twickenham and draw at the Aviva.

To my knowledge I didn't play last year, but may have commented on the thread and it was somewhat interpreted as a prediction. This year, the bottom 10 is mostly comprised of English. You've all been wrong in your Wales predictions which doesn't help.

Good job people can just look it up and see you did. And finished 50th.
And no I've been right most of the way hence 5th. That's without a 0 on the end.

Not sure who you are blaming for the reporting but always best not to make assumptions.
I count 4 English in the bottom 10, not all of whom played every round.

Why do I have to repeat myself over and over... I didn't partake in the game to my knowledge, same as this year and all the other years. I'm just pointing out that the bottom 10 is very English, not sure why it's triggered you so much.

Fair enough, I see 4 Scots, a Welshman and an Irishman. I may have misallocatmi but it is meaningless anyway as most have not played every round. 43 in the full table, 34 who played in round 4.

Quick question. Has anyone ever predicted all 3 scores correctly over the years?
If not what's been the closest?

Seconded. Give it a damn rest.
Why do you need to point out the number of Englishman in the bottom 10 anyway? Enjoy your well deserved Grand Slam, it was an excellent competition from Wales. Log out of 606v2 and crack open another beer to celebrate rather than get involved in petty scuffles on here.

Because through your anti-welsh bias you predicted Wales to lose every game, got it wrong and the ended up at the bottom.

Totally wrong on many counts. I predicted Wales to win multiple games, hence why I was top 3 overall before I missed the round 4 predictions.
Just move on mikey.
