Robbo and I both seem to have two golds in the 11-20 section. Though I may just be reading it wrong

Re: 2019 ICC World Cup Tipping Competition
Sorry guys,
James:
I had you AUS-E gold 30 points (20+10) for Match 17 instead of just 15 points (10+5)
Match 20 AUS-E is correct for your golden match - 40 points. So that takes you back to 470 points overall.
Robbo:
I had you AUS-E gold for Match 17 (should only be 15 points not 30); as well as Match 12 ENG-E gold (correct 30 points)... so it's back to 440 points overall.
Think I know why... bloody Australia even though they are green in the box I somehow had too much golden wattle colour on my mind... and chose a similar colour for the golden matches.
Please accept my sincere apologies.

I'm making a bit of a pickle of it... like Nicholls.
Losing confidence about doing an Ashes one now, although they have been quite good. The pressure of a World Cup is getting to me!

Maybe set up a Google sheet and data entry form next time? All toud have to do is input the results correctly once it's set up...leave the responsibility on us to fill it in properly

Thanks James... you got in there quickly. That would make a good Final.
Both Semis will be interesting matches. I need to have a bit more of a think (for what it's worth) especially in regard to the winning margins.

I was wondering if I should wait and see what you pick , Goose...
I'm actually pondering , to be honest. Fancy England and India but margins ???
We have a day or two yet. Anyway we will probably both get mugged by James or someone with a late run...

James has already placed his selections above, Alfie.
If you two guys want.... just PM me your picks. Secret ballot style.
Then I can post both of your selections up here after I've received them both.

Yeah I saw. If he nails the NZ result of course that's a 40 point gain if Goose and I pick India...and a final to go...
But look honestly I'm not stressing over this. I'm going to pick what I think is the best option and if Goose goes the same way so be it : still have the final to duke it out.
Anyway the idea of Goose and I actually agreeing on three things in a week is kind of remote

Yes indeed... not even a broken clock can do that! Hang on... you said a week; not a day...
Anyone watching the Women's Ashes? We don't have a thread for that do we... I think Goose & I made some comments on the main World Cup one.
These gals always go down to the wire in these matches.
Australia up 2-0 in the ODIs thus far... expecting a comeback from the Roses. At any stage from now on.

Ah enough hesitation...India C and England C . Not that watching England is ever very "C"...
(Pal Joey may be waiting a while for a comeback from the England women. Seem to have completely fallen apart - Australia have nearly sewn up the series in three games)

Yes indeed, Alfie. Note the time I posted... England were yet to bat.
I watched something else for a moment and when I switched back they were 12/4 or something.
Perry was getting a wicket or two every over it seemed... it's nice to see her enjoying her game.

Treble points for the Final, Alfie
30 points for the win
30 points for correct margin
15 points for one rung off
So I'm imagining it'll be either 45 or 60 points for you.

Re: 2019 ICC World Cup Tipping Competition
I better take this opportunity to thank everyone for participating in this tipping competition.
It's been pretty good. I made it a bit simple but I still managed to tie it in a knot at a few stages there - but James, Alfie & Co. guided us through.
Looking forward to the next one - maybe go back to the 2 batsmen; 2 bowlers, pick match winner tipping format for the Ashes.
Anyway - enjoy the Final . I think this could be your year. Or at least; it could be for most of you.
