The Open Competition - Final Leaderboard

With only two people selecting Shane Lowry this turned out to be a final day shoot-out between kwinigolfer and EmmDee57 for the final major of the season. Both had Rahm among their selection while kwinigolfer had Molinari and Koepka too while EmmDee57 had Fowler and Pepperell. In the end Koepka's one shot better performance over Fowler saw kwinigolfer win The Open competition by one shot from EmmDee57 in second.

Kwini/ED this is close- the six shots lead may be enough to do the job.
I'm happy to be back in contention and having fun in a Paul Casey type way.

Well done "Sergio" Kwin claiming a major at last. I see not doing "notes" for the Open allowed you the extra time to scope out the range and the practise rounds, pore over the weather forecasts and research player centre of gravity (See Super, Shane stays more stable than Tommy in the breeze )

Podium (albeit having to use my elbows to shunt Davie and Dyna out of the way a bit to get in the photos) is pretty good. Not sure if my career in these is Monty or Westy - ing though...

Still, qualified for the Masters.
