tigertattie wrote:Why didnt Fiji kick the ball for a lineout? Theyd surely have been able to get up to the 10m line and look to attack or at least try play for another penalty?

Tapping it then kicking it out jsut seems a bit negative and looks like they dont want to try play. Very un-Fiji

Because they were knackered.

The Rugby Championship should sign Fiji up. If they were exposed to this level of competition regularly they would be a match for mos of the top teams in the world.

Only if other countries stopped nicking their players though World Rugby sort out their rules and support smaller nations instead of lining their pockets with cash. Very Happy

I think Wales are back on top of things now, if they continue to play it tight then they will win. They are much fitter than Fiji as well and more disciplined

Wales will win, no doubt about that but how good could Fiji be if they had more support?

I don't think Wales will be comfortable. I think fitness should tell and they do seem more in the game defensively now. Wales by about 8.

Hopefully.

They are also more disciplined, more professional, but good to see Fiji pushing them, rather than just another mind numbing 9 tries to nil.

I predict a 15 point Wales victory from here

You are probably correct! Some late tries will gloss over how hard the match was

It'll be close if Garces continues to negate our strengths in the maul and breakdown. He crippled us in two previous matches this year, not sure what his deal is.

These forward pass checks are fine but how far do you go back in a passage of play as every ball moves forward if the passer is running.

Clever play to put himself between Semi and the support runner. Great nullifying tactic.
