First topic message reminder :

That's not a high tackle. Heyes initial contact is the chest. If you're going to review it, review it properly. It's a legal tackle.

How did the assistant miss that the LI player knocks the ball out of JVP's hands and into touch before the Joseph break. It was right in front of him FFS. Lineout Tigers.

Anyway, Tigers blow what should have been a straightforward win and only get 4 instead of 5 points. LI manage to snatch 2 league points with a TBP at the death. Probably a fair result as LI were the better side in the first half but didn't really show up in the second. Hassell-Collins is looking like a really classy player, shame Parton went off.

6'5" so he isn't exactly small either.

I really like Hill at blindside though so hope he stays put. Being able to cover lock from the bench or after injuries is never going to hurt your career as a flanker though so not something I'd be upset with him doing at Wuss on occasion.

Being skipper of Worcester during a rough season will hopefully do him a lot of good in the long term even if it's meant he hasn't shone as much this season. He wasn't as prominent in the first half of the season but his form in recent weeks has been impressive again.

Ah ok, I had him at 6'4".

Still, it's not huge. itoje is a similar height I think and he's not getting dropped anytime soon. Two locks at that height isn't great....

I was hoping he'd become our next Tom Croft but more physical, 3 jumpers in the pack is great when coming up against the monsters from SA!

Crofty was 6ft6 so only an inch in it. All about the leap really.

I'm still hopeful of seeing a Martin/Hill combo at 5/6 this summer. Don't really mind which one wears which shirt. All about the physical mobility.

I think it is a bit unfair to compare anyone to Tom Croft.  He was an incredibly talented player.   Certainly an great aspiration and role model. Great player to model oneself after as a player.

This is true. A skill set most international backs would have liked but probably the best line out jumper in world rugby as the time. He wasn't bad in the tight exchanges either.

Tigers all over Bristol early door but could only get a penalty. Bristol starting to look threatening though, Tigers must be more clinical because this Bristol team look like they will score points.

George Martin has just cut Nathan Hughes in half. The big man is in the backfield looking winded. Doesn't matter to Bristol who score a beautifully worked 70m try.

Ian Tempest making no fans for giving a phantom knock on when at least three Bristol players were a metre offside. A large round or booing coming sir's way.

Martin looks to be man marking Nathan Hughes at lineout time. Bristol like to use Hughes charging onto the pop from the dummy mail but that's now twice George Martin has hit him low, hard and driven him backwards.

Been pretty poor before than fantastic quick tap try though. 66% of the first half played in Bristol's half but they've scored two break away tries to lead 14-6.

Just too many handling errors from Tigers who have actually looked like they know how to attack.

The combination of Tempest on the whistle and Dickson in the TMO is not what you want but thankfully they've not stopped the game having a good flow to it.

Randall's kicking has been poor but Bristol have kicked long in general. It's been the same from Sheedy and Malins. Perhaps tactical from Bristol to just kick long and let us try to play with the ball, which we tend to do poorly.

I don't like to sound negative from a Tigers perspective but Lam might have simply decided that our attacking play is so poor they don't need to worry about letting us play that much. We show flashes if we can move the ball wide early but phase play tends to break down almost immediately if that doesn't work. Particularly without Wiese to create front foot ball.

By booting it back but keeping the ball in field they can stop us manufacturing set-piece opportunities to organise some resemblance of attack from.

Tigers have a strong bench and aren't miles behind though so it could remain interesting if we can score early in the second half.

I think there is definitely part of the Lam plan that keeps the ball on the park in the sunshine in the hope our big pack tires. Bristol have kicked to touch when they've needed to. The Bristol defensive lineout has been excellent to be fair.

Randall has definitely miss hit a couple that were meant for touch allowing a Tigers counter attack against a disorganised defence.

Henderson having a miserable time at the lineout today.

I think Moroni was in touch before passing there as well to be honest so probably not our lineout.

Tigers duly coughed up possession at the lineout though.

Possibly his best match for the club. He's been all action today. I think he got the penalty in front of the posts for our third set of three points.

Really nice move from Tigers, possibly a try waiting for Dickson to rule it out.

Excellent try. I was a bit worried that Moroni might have unnecessarily blocked at the end there.

Liebenberg has had a brilliant season and once again is involved in a crucial moment.

Nadolo's intercept and bullocking run turned fraught defence into attack there though. Big play from a big game player.

I disagree and so does Lam. The Tigers physicality has stopped Bristol getting their normal foothold in the game. Lam saying that Bristol have failed to play well as a team and have lost the breakdown battle.

Bristol are just electric that if they get a half break then it's try time. So much pace and creative talent.

Tigers second rows have been really poor today. Henderson is talented but has had his worst game for Tigers and Wells has been invisible until the intercept. Probably Wells poorest game in a really strong season otherwise.

Man in the sin bin for Bristol and a penalty to put in the corner. If Tigers can covert that maul with most of the sin bin period left then there could be life in the match.

The much improved fitness at Tigers and front row depth mean we often improve in the last quarter. The scrum pressure from good replacement props against tiring opposition and upping the tempo due to good fitness can make us look really good in the latter stages at times.

Tigers should win this from here. Bristol are on a team warning and 5m scrum with the upperhand.

Disgraceful from Bristol, absolutely disgraceful. They should be coping a fine for that farce.

Uren clearly takes the ball out the back of the scrum. How that's not a penalty for Tigers I don't know.

Tempest and his officials have completely bungled the end of that. Where's the TMO? Absolute mess from those blokes in the final minutes of the game. Bristol get away with repeatedly offending 5m from the line.

I suspect citings though because there were some punches at the end.

Ludicrous. I don't know how the opposition scrum-half picking the ball out of the scrum without the ball being out hasn't been penalised.

Farcical ending to a good game.
