Yes, summer bash at Headingly next week Fev v Leigh being the obvious standout fixture but on Sunday Barrow v Widnes could be interesting as could Newcastle v York.

I'm not sure Leigh/Featherstone is, I fully expect Leigh to win. Now the Barrow/Widnes is a very interesting fixture, especially if Widnes win. Also think the Whitehaven/Workington for different reasons, Batley/Dewsbury could be with alot at stake.

The relegation places in the NCL division 1 have been confirmed.
Myton, Milford and Saddleworth will all be in NCL division 2 next season.

Re: RL season 2022
If either Toulouse or Wakefield can win just 2 more games they would be safe as i think I'm right in saying Wakefield have to visit Toulouse yet and a game neither can afford to loseLuke wrote:Tonight's SL games.
Toulouse after a decent winning streak, lose at home to Salford 11-24. Meanwhile Catalans after 2 defeats in a row bounce back beating Huddersfield 13-12.
In the Championship.
What sounds an entertaining game see's Dewsbury get a great point at Newcastle drawing 24 all.
And in league 1.
North Wales continue there recent turn around in dorm, beating Hunslet 36-26. Cornwall lose at home again (still haven't won at home yet), this time to Swinton 10-46. West Wales also lose at home (they also haven't won at home this season, or for about 3 season's), Oldham the winners by 38-0.

In tonight's game.
A youthful Hull KR get thumped at Wigan 46-4, which was fully expected as soon as people saw the squad.

Re: RL season 2022
2 huge games tonight.
Toulouse home to Hull Fc and Wakefield away at Cas Tigers.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cas Tigers lose this one as I'm sure deep down they want Wakefield in Super League next season as their local derby as i can't see Fev being good enough to get promoted.

As George says, they were 2 big games tonight. And there's a change at the bottom. As Hull FC get a good win in Toulouse 30-6, and then Wakefield get a great win at local rivals Castleford 32-6.
In league one,
Midlands also get a good win at Hunslet 24-0. To complete a night of away wins.

Why am i not surprised Wakefield won at their local rivals Castleford last night and more or less insuring that that they stay up and insuring that Cas have a local derby next season and at the same time not having to travel to France next year to play ToulouseLuke wrote:As George says, they were 2 big games tonight. Re: RL season 2022
Today's games.
In SL
Huddersfield beat Warrington 32-22, in what sounded an interesting game till the end. But the result of the rd happened in South of France. Where Leeds losing 32-6, and having a man sent off stage a remarkable comeback in the last 24 minutes, taking it to golden point and then winning, as they stun Catalans 36-32.
In the Championship, it's the summer bash (why it's been moved to Headingley I don't know). Sheffield beat London Broncos 38-12, Batley destroy local neighbours Dewsbury 60-6, Bradford's bad season continues as they lose to Halifax 22-6. And Leigh beat Featherstone 46-16.
In league one,
London Skolars beat Cornwall 46-6.

The league 1 game sounds a belter, as Oldhaam win at Midlands 41-36.
In the Championship, the game i was at was decent. As Halifax deservedly win 34-18 against a slightly out gunned but game Batley side.

Egermont have been relegated from the NCL premier Division.
And the whole of the North Wales coaching staff will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Pretty well as I saw it. Not the best but it was good to see, shame there was not more promotion particularly with so much else on i.e. Commonwealth Games.

This Saturday on Channel 4 we have Salford Red Devils at home to the Huddersfield Giants. KO at 1.pm. So coverage will start about 12.30 pm i think. I think this could be a very good game. The Beast wrote:George Hotel1895 wrote:Both teams weren't at there best, but it was interesting to watch and i stayed watching until the endThe Beast wrote:Just a heads up (I did not know until about 5 minutes ago) i.e. 2:30pm, Saints v Cas is on Ch. 4 tomorrow (7th August).

Re: RL season 2022
So do Il to be honest they've lost to many games from winning positions. And quite a few of there players aren't performing (gigot hasn't all year).
Last night,
In the battle for the bottom play off place (6th). Leeds gave themselves a boast as they win at Hull KR 28-20. And Castleford beat Catalans 18-8.

Today's games.
In SL.
The big result is at Wakefield, who beat Wigan 30-12, and put a bit more breathing space between them and Toulouse.
In the other game, Hull FC continue they're taste for getting stuffed, as St Helens win 60-6 at Hull.
In the Championship.
The big result was London Broncos beating Workington 38-12, meaning they're staying up. Great achievement after starting the season so badly. Featherstone helped them by stuffing Dewsbury 72-6. Leigh who are head and shoulders above everyone win in Newcastle 60-0. Barrow continue there outstanding season by winning at Batley 30-12. Whitehaven still look nervously at the bottom 2, but should be safe despite losing at home to Widnes 20-12.
In League 1.
On Saturday (Sorry missed it), Swinton kept up the place for the top of the play off spots by beating West Wales 94-6 in Wales. Today Rochdale win against Cornwall 34-14. Doncaster win at Midlands 52-18. And outside Oldham stuff London Skolars 60-6.
Champions elect Keighley continue there walk to the title and automatic promotion by stuffing Hunslet 60-18.
