Surrey have announced a 15 man squad for the Vitality Blast game against Middlesex.
Ollie Pope returns from England duty Very Happy but Ben Foakes doesn't Crying or Very sad
Sam Curran, Reece Topley and Jason Roy are away with the England one day squad so miss out.
There is no place in the squad for Ben Geddes or Ryan Patel.
FULL SQUAD:
Chris Jordan (c)
Gus Atkinson
Rory Burns
Jordan Clark
Laurie Evans
Will Jacks
Conor McKerr
Dan Moriarty
Sunil Narine
Jamie Overton
Kieron Pollard
Ollie Pope
Jamie Smith (wk)
Cameron Steel
Dan Worrall
How Rory Burns and Cameron Steel are chosen over Geddes and Patel makes no sense to me  Headscratch
would expect Smith now to open with jacks and pope at 3 , clark comes in for Topley so that leave one place up for grabs and that would be most likely Atkinson or Moriarty the latter maybe getting the nod
Over to you chaps  thumbsup

Cheers, JimBob.

Yeah, like you, I was pleased that Pope's back. Hadn't expected that. He should help make up for no Roy.

Odd about Foakes. I don't think he's on any type of central contract - atm, anyway. Therefore, it should be Surrey's call on whether he plays tomorrow or not. I do though suspect England have had a quiet word in Stewie's ear.

I'll say the 4 to miss out will be Burns, McKerr, Steel and Moriarty. I appreciate there's a lot of understandable support for Moriarty to play but I'm guessing that Stewie and Batty may see Clark and Atkinson as more natural replacements for Curran and Topley.

Cheers, JimBob.
Thought London and the Oval this Friday night would be too hot and too busy for me. Drinking beer at home and settling down in front of Sky now.  thumbsup Whisky

OH NO!

Haven't heard him yet but Nasser has just mentioned Tudor being there and so I guess he'll be on comms.

Tudor is without doubt the worst commentator of any sport of all time.

Good performance with the ball and in the field by Surrey. ''Very professional '' - per Nasser, that's spot on.

Now for the batsmen to do the same ....

A very comfortable win. As many suspected, Middlesex's total was too short.

Narine so consistent and again showing to be an excellent signing.

I'll leave JimBob and Olly to comment on Pollard.
