Brilliant kick from Steward avoids that fumble from Watson leading to points for France.

France looking better in just about every facet so far though.

Willis isn't having a good game 7.5. Others also being poor doesn't change that.

Every breakdown is like Christmas for the French

After a quiet tournament so far by his standards Alldritt has been exceptional today.

Whole pack bar Itoje are struggling for me....but backrow have been awful.

Smith had added nothing...but he's not had bags to play with tbh.

That is really brain dead from Malins.

No clear release there - France can do what they like at the breakdown

Smith's not had a chance with the forwards being hammered to be fair.

If you lose the breakdown this comprehensively and have this penalty count there's little a 10 can do.

This is what worries me. I like that Smith has been picked, but he may be the fall guy for this defeat, even though (as you say) there's little he can do when the French forwards are so dominant.

That was awful viewing....utterly smashed at home. The pack have looked a long way short of matching this French outfit.

I suspect the forwards are going to get the blame for this. Dombrandt will be lucky if he takes the pitch in the second half, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ribbans come on and us drop Chessum onto the blindside with Ludlam at 8.

England's garbage defence exposed again. It's not Italy or Wales anymore, it's the French in full flow. Different levels. Discipline atrocious. Breakdown awful.

If the French don't ease up it could be 50+.

Not sure he's put a foot wrong though. With little ball he's basically picked the right option. Not much ball though and discipline and looking after a wet ball has been iffy.
