Golf shoes
Hi all,
I need new golf shoes and am wondering if you have any recommendations of the most durable/best quality/best value ones you've encountered?
Thank you.

Re: Golf shoes
I've had several Footjoy Pro SL. Very good shoes.

Cheers Super, I'll check them out.
Do you buy online or in a golf shop?

I've pretty standard feet so just online. I do find the laced version to be more comfortable than the boa version though just as a heads up, even though I prefer the Boa for convenience.
The most comfortable shoes I ever had were Ecco, but I don't like how they look these days.

Having looked at the reviews online, the Ecco biom c4 seems to be the best overall. I ended up going for the Adidas Tour 360 as it is spiked and was going for a good price online.
The FJ tour alpha looked great too. Defo want to try Ecco at some point.

Re: Golf shoes
I stay away from Adidas. Not the most durable of golf shoes. ECCOs style has gone a bit old man in recent years. But having had a few pairs I can vouch for the quality.
I tend to go with footjoys as a safe bet.

I'm all about comfort these days and for comfort you cant beat Sketchers, they're beginning to lose that price advantage they used to have over the big boys but still cheaper than other big brands. I've found them no better/no worse than other brands durability wise.

Matty Fitz's Pro 5 Hypers got decent feedback in the review videos I watched.JAS wrote:I'm all about comfort these days and for comfort you cant beat Sketchers, they're beginning to lose that price advantage they used to have over the big boys but still cheaper than other big brands. Re: Golf shoes
New shoes arrived today and I played a few holes at lunch. This spiked pair is a lot stiffer than my old un-spiked adidas. They killed my feet for the hour or so, but thats probably to be expected until they're broken in. Felt like they offered a lot more grip and stability during the swing, especially at this time of year when my course is quite mucky in places.

Hopefully they break in nicely inco. It's imperative to have a comfortable golf shoe.
