Well I thought I would start a thread for this women's final, which is shaping up to quite an upset. Kvitova 6-2, 4-3. Sharapova is having a horrific day on serve and has been broken in each game after relevelling the match.

This could be an upset.

The serving has been horrendous, very poor and they just seem to be breaking each others serve for fun.

Kvitova has shown some real character to be able to win a Slam in her first final appearance against a 3 time Slam champion. Kudos.

Congratulations to Kvitova who finished with an ace which was actually her 1st ace of the final. Sharapova played really poor though.

Problem for Maria is that she served a lot of double faults and couldn't deal with Kvitova's lefty serves and devastating goundstrokes. It was a mixture of brilliant play from Kvitova and poor play from Maria.
