Ugo Monye should be selected over Strettle and JSD. He offers more versatility, has a better boot and is vastly more solid defensively.

I would like to see Sharples given a go in the warm-ups and if he has a good run could go as a bolter.

Flutey also to be given a run and if shows form should be on the plane.

I'd be very surprised if Flutey didn't go. MJ is not picking his centres on form, that much is already clear, so he may as well pick on ability, and Flutey is the most able 12 in his pre-WC squad.

Flutey is also an emergency cover at 10, and could enable MJ to take only Flood and Wilkinson, thus leaving room for an extra outside back.

ExiledScot - yup, that was my thinking re:Flutey. He just offers a bit more versatility.
Still think that MJ will stick with Hape and Tinds as starters though - unless others have blinders in the warm ups.
